"The Gorgeous George" - A charming private detached apartment

The Gorgeous George - a tribute to the late George Rominger, a pominent trucker in the area who was the original owner of the property this house was built on - is a cozy 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment built above a detatched garage. Within walking distance to West Ellensburg and Rotary Parks, Irene Rinehart Riverfront Park, and a 5 minute drive into downtown Ellensburg and the University. Enjoy a full kitchen, wifi internet and your own washer and dryer to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you're looking for a longer stay than a weekend, contact me directly with dates you're needing. If the times work out I can offer a discount for 7+ days, and 28+ days. Main house is occupied, but your total privacy will always be respected.

Quick trip
Found this spot super last minute but turned into a great stay. Host was awesome and the space is in a great location close to everything in the Burg. Super cozy place to stay for a quick trip or even extended stay, Will definitely be back!!!

Lovely Getawat

So charming!
The neighborhood is a little rough but don’t worry, the apartment is wonderfully appointed, well-decorated, and comfy. The listing says it is 400 square feet but it sure seems roomier. Lots of attention to detail, the kitchen supplies are top-notch and the bed is comfy. Would stay again without hesitation.

Perfect little spot in Ellensburg
If you are looking for a nice little spot in Ellensburg this is the place. Perfect size for 2 people in town to visit our son. Everything in the apartment is top notch. Check in was a breeze and we are 5 minutes from everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

The Gorgeous George is not only lovely, it has everything you need for your stay in Ellensburg. Beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, soft sheets, luxurious towels, fully-equipped kitchen, and a washer & dryer are just some of the nice touches. Phillina is a friendly, responsive, and considerate host who provides thoughtful touches like bottled water for coffee, a list of good places to eat posted on the refrigerator, and bedside stands with built in phone charger are just a few. The location is excellent, quiet yet close to downtown restaurants, etc. I highly recommend The Gorgeous George!

Wonderful space
Wonderful new and clean space with everything we needed to cook. Downtown was nice walk about 15-20 mins. We loved the upstairs unit and the bed was very comfy. The neighborhood is a mix of old and new homes. Owner was super responsive and helpful.

The property was nice, cute and clean. My partner and I loved it so much! It was well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend. The heat pump kept the entire unit very cool during the hot weekend. Definitely coming back when we are in the area!

Gorgeous George is FANTASTIC!!!!!!
If you ever need to stay in Ellensburg, WA consider the Gorgeous George. The unit is immaculate, warm and inviting. It is well equipped for long and short term stays. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to downtown and KVH Hospital. The owners are very warm and accommodating and make you feel very welcome. My wife and I enjoyed our five days at the Gorgeous George and will definitely stay here again whenever in the Ellensburg area.

We came into town for a wedding and shortly after booking we received a message that an early check in may be possible. As the trip got closer we received a message asking what time would work best for us to check in. Owners have great communication that was quick and overall so accommodating! The stay was wonderful and close by to everything we needed! This is a cute and very clean place to stay! The bed was super comfortable and overall had a peaceful/cozy vibe. We definitely would book again!

Super cute space. Will stay again if I need space in Ellensburg. Two things to be aware of - this is on the west side of town which is still an area under development and doesn't have great walking access to amenities. Also, bring a throw blanket if it's cold out. There weren't any in the unit. I would still say 10/10, would recommend.

The property was very nice and well kept, Phillina is very easy to communicate with and everything was super accessible! It's very quiet around the area and the detached apartment is very clean. Will be staying again if I'm ever in the area!
