Wonderful food and genuinely friendly staff. We enjoyed our two night stay and would have given 5* if the mattress wasn’t ’tired & lumpy’!

Excellent stay, excellent food.
Stayed 1 night Saturday to Sunday. Free carpark, plenty of spaces. Check in was smooth, room was clean and well presented. Nice little extra touches like hot chocolate and toiletries provided. We ate here for evening meal, food was delicious and portion was very generous. Would recommend contacting to book a table as it was very busy and to ask if there is any entertainment on. We could hear the singer from our room, but that wasn't an issue for us. The free breakfast lived up to expectations having read various reviews. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Opted for the full English and it didn't disappoint. Excellent quality, generous portion size and perfectly cooked. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Pleasant overnight stay
The pub is in a village of Welsh Hampton, about 4 miles east if Ellesmere. We had a warm welcome when we arrived at10pm. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, a good choice and good portions.

First time staying here and what a little gem. I was a single traveller and it was a very friendly place and the food was excellent. Food was so good I travelled an extra 20 miles out of my way for a second night stay.

Nice room in a friendly pub
There are 3 rooms (Cow, Sheep & Pig) and I was allocated Pig. The room was adequate rather than spacious but everything was comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. There is ample parking and the Inn serves a great evening meal in the conservatory behind the lively bar. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would be happy to return.
