Everything was great, except the towels.
The hotel was very clean and neat. However, our towels were small and old. We felt so disgusted that the following day, we bought our on towels.

It looked a bit run down. Weeds out front. Ice machines didn't work, half the TV channels were unavailable. I saw some stains on walls in the rooms near trash bins (just wipe it down). Breakfast options were limited - no bananas? But I did sleep well and it was quiet on a Thursday night. I stayed there a year earlier and it seemed better.

Rooms were ok no tv ch guide, pool was closed for renovation and the ice machine has been broken for almost a year. I was offered to cancel my reservation by at 10:30 pm and 350 miles we were exhausted. The room was clean but no maid service until the customers checked out.

Poor Service - Did not get the room I booked
We had booked a room with 2 queen beds but when we arrive here on Aug 18th night, the hotel put us in a room with one King bed in spite of the hotel staff confirming that I will have room with 2 queen beds when I talked to them on phone few hours before check-in. The sofa bed in the room was not comfortable at all. After driving 6+ hours I was expecting 2 queen beds so we can sleep well. With 3 adults, it became very uncomfortable for us having just one king bed to sleep. The hotel front desk rep who was present in the night said he will give us $50 refund but then nothing was processed till my time to check-out in the morning and the rep didn't record anything in the system about the refund. The next representative in the morning had no idea about my conversation with the person I talked to in the night.

Overall not happy with our stay
The room was dirty when we arrived. Had to ask for clean towels and sheets and change the sheets ourselves due to them being dirty and stained. The carpet in the room was stained/dirty and didnt look like it has been vacuumed or shampood in quite some time. The lady that checked us into our room was very nice and very helpful. The lady that worked the front desk on the day of checkout was not very personable and looked irritated/angry. We were very disappointed that the pool was not open and the website did not state anything about the pool being closed for renovation. We had our 12 year old and 16 year old daughters and they were looking forward to the pool the most on our trip. We were offered a free cancellation but after driving hours to get there and it being 5 pm, there wasnt really many options for us to stay at another place last minute. I feel the room was over priced considering the condition of the room, overall cleanliness and the fact the pool was closed without being contacted about it via email or that it was not posted on any sites that the pool was closed for renovations. Overall, pretty disappointed in our stay. I feel the room was not worth the price and we should have recieved some sort of discount. We will never rent another room from this company again unless we recieve some sort of discount or credit.
