Book a hotel near Elmvale Jungle Zoo, Springwater

"The place was clean, well-supplied with dishes, glasses and mugs, utensils, foods you may have forgotten, small appliances, tables and seats inside and out, cushions, games and more. Great programming on the TV. Helpful labels were placed where needed and a chalk board with my name welcomed me. The owner even gave us an easy-to-recall code for entry! The beds were large and comfortable, and the dressers and closets were more than adequate. The water sports equipment was generous, and with the shallow lake, beginners were safe. The instruction sheets were very clear. My visitor wants to book for the family next year. My only small complaint was the bedroom on the upper floor had no bedside lamp, so once the switch by the door was turned off the room was in darkness as you found the bed's location. Fortunately, I had a flashlight with me. The host was easy to communicate with and helpful. I would book again."

"This was a great cottage located on a waterfront. It had everything and much more such as complimentary coffee, cookies and snacks. This would be great for multi-family getaway. If you have small kids beware that there is a busy road in front of the cottage. I would stay there again. "

"It has been 13 years since we spent dedicated time together away from our hustle-bustle lives! My mom is 95 and absolutely loved the pool as did one of my sisters and my (only) brother! My other two sisters have limited mobility using walkers, one requiring extra-special care. This wonderful space was perfect for them... main floor bedrooms/bath and the huge kitchen/gathering area were ideal. Perhaps the owners would consider adding railings here and there to assist better use of the outdoor spaces for those with mobility challenges. This could be an excellent rental feature in the future. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much"

"The house was great, had lots of room and great decorating. Love that the bedrooms had space for your things alongside the bed. I would say this place is bare bones though, no dressers for your clothes, no side tables or lamps in all of the rooms. The beds were very cheap and the mattresses were uncomfortable (you could feel the springs). There were linens and towels provided but I’m not sure how deep a clean this place gets in between guests (found hair in the shower, hair on the toilet, floors were not cleaned). Besides cleaning/cheap furniture- the place was easy to find, had parking for two vehicles, easy entry and relative freedom of use. Did not have any contact from the owner, so can’t really comment on that. Overall, we had a good time here!"
