"My family stayed here for New Years Eve and the house was absolutely perfect. The open layout with kitchen, dining area and living room made for a very cozy and comfortable hang out area, and the three bedrooms was perfect for our family and mother in law. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed Location was perfect with a quick walk to the sound, minutes from shops and restaurants, and a very short drive to everything the island has to offer. Communication was great and made for an easy check in and check out. Definitely recommend! "

"We came out to have a farewell dinner with my Marine stationed in Cherry Point. The area was beautiful, the beach was easily accessible, and the unit was perfect for our group. It had everything we needed, and the host was very responsive. "

"This is a beautiful home, with lots of great amenities. We rented this home for a family wedding on Emerald Isle, and there were 12 adults (ages17-50's) and 2 children who stayed for 2 nights. Some of our collective thoughts on the property as a whole: (1) the home is further from the beach than we originally anticipated from the listing, it is within walking distance, but it is not right on the beach. (2)The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, and pots and pans, but you will probably need to purchase dishwashing detergent, we only had one pod for our entire stay, for 14 people. Also, the kitchen space is very tight, if your group likes to cook! (3) We would've loved to have been able to use the pool! It is not heated, and was not really usable due to the amount of leaves, and pine needles, etc. To be fair, we stayed in the off season. During the summer months, the pool would've been perfect!! Overall, this property is beautiful and clean, relatively updated, well located, but a bit noisy, due to the close proximity to the main road. We appreciated the fact that we could all stay together, since our family is scattered across the country, and doesn't get to see one another often. The host was easily reached with any issues, and is very personable, and easy to deal with. "
