The smoke alarm had no batteries in room 140 shower curtains dont stay in shower should be lowered a little other than that need a waffle maker but all in all everything is good

great motel but book it through Expedia!
My wife and I have been staying at this Days Inn on and off for many years. It has improved considerably since Wyndham took over [for details see my questionnaire. The only problem I experienced was during the booking process. I tried to make the latest reservation with my recently acquired Wyndham VISA card and, after laboriously filling in all the information requested was informed that my transaction failed to complete.

Unnecessary Early Work Start
It was clean and comfortable enough for the one night stay heading north from Florida. Got in late- 2:00AM. At 7:15 AM, workers were inexplicably dropping what sounded like metal pipes- probably into a dumpster- about 30’ from our room. We left at 9AM and the work was still going on then. As a result, we got very little sleep in preparation for the additional 8 hour drive we had ahead of us. It’s an old building in the outside, but they did a commendable job on refurbishing the unit we were in. Clean room and bathroom; shower was definitely sufficient. My only complaint (other than the early start of the work is that the beds were somewhat hard and lumpy. Maybe had I been able to spend more than 5 hours sleeping in it, it would’ve gotten mire comfortable.

Room was clean and front desk person was very friendly. Room door had 2 inch gap at the bottom because they are doing renovations, but had not replaced the doors yet. I had to roll up a towel and stuff it under the door, so nothing could come in the room. Air conditioning was very poor. You definitely get what you pay for so don’t expect anything special, except for the lovely woman at the front desk.

Slum on outside, clean comfortable in room
Thought I made a bad mistake, as the building and doors to rooms were in pretty bad shape. The room inside was very clean and comfortable, but the outside looked like a slum.
