Thank you for interest in our family Hoemstead. This property has been making memories with our family and friends for the past 40+ years. Its location is the perfect distance, from Saratoga or Encampent, allowing you to enjoy the beauties of Rural Wyoming with the quick convenience of a short drive to all the local tourist stops, including Saratoga's Natural Mineral Hot Springs.

The property is perfect for large friend and/or family gatherings with it's multiple spacious interior and exterior family spaces, an over sized parking area and wrap around driveway. (Very trailer friendly) The front porch (2 steps) enters into the main level of the house, which includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, the kitchen & living space, as well as a heated screened-in porch. The garden level basement also includes 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house is situated on 20+ private acres that ensures hours of quiet time for relaxing and wildlife viewing, also excellent running room for your fur babies!

There is a heated mud room, with hooks, for drying your outdoor adventure gear!
ie: swim suites, fly fishing, hiking & snowmobile gear

The surrounding area is saturated with Wyoming Adventures, including snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, bird watching, river floats and Most Famous the Natural Mineral Hot Springs. Downtown Saratoga has an abundance of dinning options from fine Italian (make a reservation), Wyoming's favorite Beef Steak, an Ol' Fashion Ice cream parlor, a Whiskey Bar, to a local favorite Cantina!

This was our 2nd stay here in as many years so we obviously are happy with this property. It is big enough for 4 guys to each have a bedroom with a bathroom on each level. Plenty of room for gear in the front entryway and room outside for truck and trailer parking. Plan to continue staying here when in the area.

Perfect for our New Years
This homestead was perfect for our four couples and furries to spend time together. The setting is beautiful with plenty of gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby and many options for restaurants in the surrounding little towns. The house had all the amenities we needed, the house was large enough for all of us and the beds very comfortable. The mud room was a bonus for everyone to drop off their coolers. Beautiful and perfect location to fish treasure Island
The screened in porch was amazing for the wildlife we saw. The porch area was large enough to play card games and such. Lots of blankets to wrap up in. Easy to use televisions with lots of options. It was a bit over priced for all we had to do. There were items listed that weren’t there (bathtub and spa/whirlpool) the upstairs dryer didn’t heat up so I had to contact the property owner. We had to clean the oven in order to use it; we had to clean the grill in order to use it; someone had actually put a dirty skillet away in the cupboard; we had to clean out the mouse poop in the bathroom drawers before using them. Be careful of the different fees at the end.

Great home that has all your family might need! Kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were up to date and very comfortable. Comfortable beds with plenty of linens and blankets for cooler nights and mornings. The surrounding property has plenty of space for kids and dogs to explore. Located just 10 min from Saratoga and Encampment, it was the perfect spot for our family group of 8. Beautiful sunsets along with much needed peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

Family Trip
We had wanted to stay at a location that allowed our family (my husband and me with our adult children and two young grandsons accompanied by my mom) to be able to re-connect and bond! My guys wanted to fish at Saratoga Lake and enjoy the surrounding area; including the hot springs. The drive time was very doable and our home we stayed in was perfect!! What a cute, spacious place that’s well maintained and had everything we needed. -Ideal for our varying ages; much better than a motel or lodge!! We definitely want to come back!!

Fabulous getaway
We had a delightful time at the Hoemstead! It was the perfect spring break get away for us and our kids. Plenty of space of all 7 of us and a super easy drive to Saratoga for relaxing in the hot springs and groceries.

A great place to enjoy and visit
This was a great central place for a few of us to visit. Quiet and comfortable, it was exactly what we needed. It is tricky to find, I eventually used Apple Maps and got there. Verizon service is awful out there so it was very difficult to get ahold of the owners. Once we were there I was very please. There could have been a bit more attention to cleaning on a few things.. However, the updates and views made up for the cleaning crews over sites. I would definitely stay here again.

True beautiful Wyoming cattle country
Great family getaway, newly remodeled home with a ranch feel, loved eating meals on the large screened porch with excellent views of bottomlands of cow creek and prairie. Close enough to nearby towns and Medicine Bow National Forest for convenience. Kids liked the farm implements and tractors on the property. We enjoyed the history provided by the antique farm equipment and pictures/photos of the patriarch of the family. Took many walks on the hilly road, love that the cattle roam freely across the road and yard. They did not hinder us one bit. The house was spacious for 7 of us, would love to rent the Hoemstead again.
