This not what we expected from this chain! The room was damp, the double glazing had failed and the a/c thought it was a Boing 747! Couldn’t wait to get out

It wasnt my favorite Holiday inn. We sat up front for a solid 20 minites for the front dest guy to let us know he canceled our reservation as a "no show" we got in after mid night. I stay at hundreds of hotels a year and this has never been an issue. He then double charged me. I also asked for a king on the reservation and i got two double beds. It was a tight squeeze for the gf and i on one of those. It was a nice bed though. Very comfortable.

Key cards to the rooms never worked. We had to make multiple trips to the front desk to get new key cards. No blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. I had to stand at the front desk for 10 mins before a worker came to the front desk. Not kid friendly. Employees didn’t like the kids outside plying volleyball or football. Breakfast kitchen staff was RUDE, especially the older lady working the morning breakfast. Extremely understaffed. Hotel was completely booked out for the weekend, and they only had ONE employee working the front desk.

Bad from the minute I walked thru the doors. They tried to put me in a double bed room when I had booked a king with sofa bed . Employees in the breakfast room were rude. Only 1 towel when they cleaned room , no water for coffee. No one was ever at the front desk you always had to ring bell leaving me to think they were short handed.

Home away from home
Hotel is pretty nice. Sits back from the street and had some places to eat around it along with some little business. This was my 3rd time staying for work so well worth the extra 20 minutes. Breakfast was the standard Holiday meal so hot and cold foods and well worth it.

There was spiders, dead bugs in the corner of room, smelled like mildew, lock broken on the door, and when we went out to the car to load our car it was infested with ants! We took the luggage that was in our car all night out to clean and some other visitors came out to the same thing on their car. Then another family came out to find d their car was infested too. There were millions of ants everywhere!!!! We had to go to a car wash pull everything out and clean the car because they were literally crawling on us. They were in the luggage, our baby’s car seat, When I went back to check out, the staff seemed to not be concerned and said, “I will definitely contact Eco Lab. Do you need a receipt for your stay?” She told my husband, “things happen.” We were staying on our way to Florida. I definitely don’t want to bring ants with me to my next stay.
