where do I start, first there was absolutely no security. Our room was in the back of the hotel. The hallways looked like something out of a horror movie. We couldn’t use one single towel because they were stained. also the so-called shower towels were literally the towels from the swimming pool with the blue stripe and they look like they’re about 30 years old! There was pubic hair still on the bathroom floor and the air conditioner didn’t stay on. There was also a blinking light outside of our room and the curtains didn’t cover the window all the way!!!

The room was not clean. Dirty white blankets. Mold on skink knobs and in between them. Overall smell was overwhelming.

This Days Inn was $79 (affordable), in an area by itself (safe). Room was ok. Shower water was Hot. Bathroom ceiling very dirty/molded. The buildings are very run down. The gym was closed, the doors entering the buildings have no locks but that didn’t bother us given the location. The limited breakfast was actually sufficient with yogurt, boiled eggs, breakfast bars, juice and very weak coffee.

The pictures shown are only pictures of the very front of the property. The back of the 4 buildings were quite scary and felt unsafe to be in. Also the whole building and floors smelled of wet paint and bleach.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Major Improvements

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Erie, PA, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. The property is extremely old and run down, with visible signs of neglect throughout. The rooms had a musty odor, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. To make matters worse, we encountered bugs in the room, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The furniture and fixtures were outdated and in poor condition, and the atmosphere just didn’t feel clean or welcoming. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant renovations and improvements are made. There are definitely better options in the area for the same price range.

Pictures were not the same as the rooms at all. Place smelled of marijuana in the hallways and inside the room. Was very dirty in the main areas as well as the room itself. Had to book another hotel. Thankfully the staff was really nice and issued a full refund. Staff was the only nice part.

The hotel was cheaper than other hotels in the area, but does need maintenance and good contractor. The question is how important the savings are to those renting the hotel. The continental breakfast had variety (oatmeal, cereal bars, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and muffins) and the outdoor pool looked fun. The fridge and microwave in the rooms came in handy. The beds were fairly comfortable and showers worked fine, but the towels were not plush or soft. One room’s television did not work (we were told to unplug it and restart it - which did not work). I am unsure if we will stay again.

Property was alright. They’re definitely renovating it. Room was super clean. Everything looked new except the shower enclosure which looked original. But the water pressure and heat made up for it. I didn’t appreciate them saying “pets stay free” and then say only one was free on check in. I’ve stayed at several Wyndham properties over the years and the ALWAYS specify and say something like 1st is free, second is X dollars or pets stay free up to 2 with a $50 refundable pet deposit. Staff was fine. Door to the room was really hard to open but otherwise the stay was fine.

The back doors are not secured, anyone can walk in/out. the bathroom and room were not thoroughly cleaned. There was constant noise in the hallway. The doors slam shut. The window in my room was stuck OPEN; it could not be closed.

Disgusting hotel and room

The room was dirty. The stove had not been cleaned for several years if ever. There was so much grease on it. The tube was dirty. The water was yellow. The trash cans were never cleaned. Old beatup furniture with holes and stains. Towels were stained and not even white. Tried to upload photos but it won't let me

The room we were in was on first floor, very loud. It is a rundown hotel, but you get what you pay for. The facet in the tub was ready to fall off and the walls in the bathroom had spots. It was ok, but a little sketchy.

The beds were terrible. We bought two air mattresses and slept on those. Walls paper thin. Door didn’t buffer any noise from the loud guests in the halls. The chair in the room was stained and nasty looking.
