Room and hotel property were very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good with the room. Motel and parking lot were well-lit after dark. Because of the urban location in the downtown area, there was a considerable amount of outside noise including multiple emergency sirens and Amtrak trains routinely passing by throughout the night. This is obviously out of the motel’s control.

We walked into our room and it immediately stunk. We opened up the fridge and saw food/a burrito in there from the previous person. The fridge had greasy hand marks on it. There was a used q-tip on the floor. The bathroom door wouldn’t fully shut and looked like it had been punched before. There were also stink bugs coming out from under the bed. The bed smelled like bleach. We didn’t even end up staying the night and deciding to drive home that night. Not worth the money at all.

The best things about this property were the staff. We pulled up to the police being called to the property for a disturbance. There were people hanging around the parking lot and in the hallways. The best part of this hotel was that the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe. Rey from the front desk even helped with his own personal property when I forgot my contact solution. Tamika helped with our towels more than once when we weren’t provided with enough. Overall, we weren’t happy with the area and constant noises but the actual hotel was decent and the staff were amazing!

Blanket need to be replaced because it smelled terribly of body odor. The tub drained very slowly and was filling up during my shower. Had some sketchy experiences with locals almost every time I left the hotel. Not a great time. The staff were very nice and polite though.

The suite we stayed in was nice. The floors looked like they could have been mopped a little bit better- my toddler’s feet got dirty after her bath at the hotel and she was walking around barefoot. Otherwise the only other thing I wish was different was more of a privacy fence around the parking lot. The roads on all sides of the hotel are very busy and I think the current fence takes away from the updated look inside the hotel.

Nice... but dirty.
The customer service was great, very friendly staff. The location was terrible. We were all wpken yp at least 3x by police sirens, and by super loud traffic. The rooms have been updated and theyre nice, but the floors were filthy. I washed my kids' feet before bed and the towel i used was disgusting. With carpet, i understand you cant shampoo it every time. But these are laminate, easily moppable. They were just gross.
