Camp on Akers Pond

Welcome to our camp on Akers Pond! Enjoy the amenities of home in the great north woods. The main floor has a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, one full bathroom, and a living room with flatscreen TV and an electric fireplace. All beds are located on the second floor. The bedroom has a full size and twin bed. The open sleeping area has an additional 4 full size beds. There are two air conditioners on the second floor for the warm summer nights. On the front of the camp, we have a bonus room with a bar that boasts amazing views of Akers Pond and the surrounding mountains. On the lower lawn, there is a fire pit by the water. Guests will have access to the dock shown in the pictures. This side of the pond is shallow, allowing flat bottom boats to dock in front of the camp. We just bought the camp last year and continue to do upgrades. So far, we have done new flooring on the main level, new range, new water heater, new toilet, new tv, and a leather couch. Included with the camp is a smart TV, outdoor grill, and fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi. Enjoy fishing, hiking, boating, ATVing and much more in beautiful Errol NH.

We take great pride in maintaining our property and want to ensure it remains in the same condition for future guests.

Moose Hunt
Nice tidy camp on the water, awesome views of the Akers Pond. We were a little confused about parking, but it worked. Awesome wifi and entertainment. My wife and I stayed a couple days after the moose left on Wednesday, Did a couple of fires in the fire pit and listened to the stars. Great Place, definitely would go again.

A great place to stay for a long weekend
The home was clean comfortable and exactly as described . We played cornhole by the waterfront. We had forgotten our cribbage board but one was thoughtfully provided. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Labor Day weekend getaway
Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. Owners were very attentive to detail and the camp was clean. The kids loved playing and fishing off the dock. They even kayaked even though it rained a bit during our stay.

Great spot for trail riders
Right down the street from the trail head this was the perfect spot to be for a good sleep and meals between trail rides. Furniture is very comfortable. Appliances are modern and clean, and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to cook and Curran

Location, location, location
The place worked out great for us. When rented for three nights with the goal of fishing both Acres Pond and Umbagog. Fishing was great. Couldn’t be any easier with a dock right at the house on Acres and the close proximity to the boat launch at Umbagog. Communication was great with the boat too.

Aker's pond camp
The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Could use a curtain on a large window in a living area. Could use updated lighting throughout. Sent a message a week before arrival with no reply. Had a great time fishing lake UmbagogUmbagog

Perfect spot on a gorgeous lake
An old camp right on Akers Pond that has apparently been remodeled. It is in really good shape with updated appliances, large screen TV, Keurig coffeemaker and air conditioning. There is also a dock in the water. The host was very accommodating. I had not noticed in the description that I needed to bring my own sheets and towels and he found someone to supply them for me. The only odd thing about it is that the gravel driveway, firewood and gazebo are owned by the place across the street. The main living room could use a curtain so that the people in the gazebo can't look in.

Great location
Small house and all beds are in the loft, it was a great location on the pond. Our family of five stayed two nights and had a fun time on the pond with our paddle boards. It is very shallow water around the dock which is nice for little kids.

A week at Akers pond.
Here is a clasic akers pond camp. Rustic charming great location. Near the end of a dead end road. Minimal traffic. Quiet if you like that. And we did. Great shallow beach for kids nice lawn at the waters edge. Perfeect for hanging out all day. And yes the sunsets were amazing. Enjoy your stay.

Perfect
The house was perfect for the two of us. House was clean, beds were comfortable, recliners were also very nice after a long day of fishing. We did not have enough time to take out our paddleboards but hope to explore the pond next time. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Retreat
My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night stay at this rustic and comfortable cabin. We wanted to use our kayaks, so the location right on the water was perfect. Haven't heard loons in a long time so that was a bonus. I have a feeling we will be back!

Did the job.
Planned a small fishing trip with my father and brother. 343 Ackers pond served as a home base, and shelter from the heat and humidity, the weather and fishing was not kind to us but the house was more than adequate. Communication with owner was a breeze. Thank you.
