Such a convenient and lovely stay at Castle Mountain Lodge. Close to the park entrance and town. Setting was beautiful with turkeys, birds and deer. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.The Wapiti Restaurant is within walking distance with amazing food.

I loved how cozy Castle Mountain Lodge was. The location was great- close to RMNP and close to town, but removed from all the other tourists. A flock of turkeys hung out on the property- very cool! I didn't use the kitchenette but it was a nice touch.

A small cabin-type motel-type room looks as pictured, has a small kitchen and a balcony; very good selection of furnishing; all is in good condition; multiple windows and a door all have insect nets and open for excellent ventilation; and the employees are very friendly and helpful, if something is needed. Kitchen is small, but remarkably well designed - I cooked my veggies daily. On the negative side, if I must - and it's not really "their" fault - in a motel settings, noisiness of your neighbors matter. Too enthusiastic talking carries through the wall, in spite of what looks like solid wood panels. So, of our 6 nights there, some nights were better than others. But mostly, we've got what we were looking for, which was some recharging between hikes in the Park.

Beautiful serene location by the river. Room was comfortable and clean without sacrificing the rustic quality I sought. Hot water in the shower no issues. microwave and fridge was handy.

Lovely property by river and with large trees and pretty flowers. Although without air conditioning, normally a must, mild weather made my stay a delight. The staff was especially friendly and helpful and the fresh homemade cookies provided delicious.
