Pleasantly surprised! This is a quirky hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. A rare gem. The room was clean, although not your modern, chic interior it was in keeping with the whole quirkiness of the hotel.

The property is really quaint, a little bit of Tuscany, the rooms were really clean and comfortable and I would definitely book again.

The room was clean and beautifully appointed with plenty of room. The WIFI did not work. We stayed in a family room at the far end of the property. A staff member checked the connection and realised the room was out of range.

Magnificent old Italian structure . Like staying in a museum. Don't need to go to Italy now. Really enjoyed the short holiday in this accommodation which incorporates shops and restaurants.

The bed was comfortable and it was easy walking distance to cafes and beach. I like to have fresh air & ceiling fan but there's only air conditioning. I did ring before booking & was told there was rooms with ceiling fans.Ended up getting a room with a small window but it opened up to a shared balcony that is enclosed so no airflow. Can't leave balcony door open as anyone could walk in. Felt like I was sleeping in a tomb. Also no emergency exit plan on back of door only instructions in information booklet to go to carpark. It's like a rabbit warren & it would be helpful to know the safest, quickest way out. There was also cockroaches in the bathroom when I got up during the last night there to use the bathroom. 😱

This property was quite unique and quirky. Rooms were renovated and were lovely, comfortable and clean. Loved the location with all the restaurants and shops downstairs. Walkable to Ettalong Beach.

Great place to stay, super friendly and helpful staff, good sized rooms and lots of eating options close by. Would have given it 5 stars but for the shouty signs in the corridors and rooms telling you what not to do. A quick redesign of those would change the tone immediately. But overall, we loved it.
