This historic home was built in 1882 and served as Eufaula's original town jail prior to its restoration as a city park and now a residential home. Eufaula's "Old Town Jail" is currently listed on the national register of historic places and is one of many historic structures in the town of Eufaula. Beautifully restored and renovated, the home still contains its original features, but includes all the modern amenities and comforts. You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

Enjoyed most things about this property BUT, if I may offer a few suggestions— The bar stools are too HIGH to sit comfortably at the beautifully large island Front door is difficult to open-door sticks We would definitely come back here. Thanks for a lovely time

Beautiful and peaceful! I can't say one negative thing about this home. It was very clean and comfortable, and it had all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable stay. The view of the lake was awesome whether watching early morning or at night when the moon is reflecting on the water . This is the perfect place if your looking for serenity.

We loved our stay. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the views of the sunrise over the lake. The house has all you will need for your stay including condiments, spices, and sweet goodies to make if you want to cook. There was no dishwasher, but we didn’t mind that. The fact that it was a historic jail was an added bonus.

Beautiful building and accommodations, really cool staying in an historical 1800's jail, beautifully refurbished of course, set on lake Eufaula, gorgeous views of the lake from the back deck. My family and I loved every aspect of this house. It was nicely furnished and decorated! The deck outside allows guests to have the perfect view of beautiful lake Eufaula. It was right in town, close to amazing restaurants like The Cajun Corner and Joe’s Crab Pot. (Highly recommended both places). The smart tv had many options for streaming, in the living room and bedrooms! Reading the papers showcased on the wall in the hallway to tell the history of this amazing vacation rental was so fun to see and learn more about. Overall a great stay! Highly Recommend!
