This home offers a fully-equipped kitchen accompanied by a family-style dining table. The living room includes a large comfy couch that offers both fireplace coziness and edge-of-your-seat sports cheering. This is a space for laughter and memories to be shared. This Eugene home is a perfect abode to enjoy a vacation or work away with a designated workspace and WiFi. All bedrooms are conveniently located upstairs, which means no noise from the lower level will be heard here when it's time to hit the hay. The property in general was very good and relatively well appointed. We would definitely consider staying again. Not great that the dishwasher was out of service. The biggest negative…the bed pillows are not good, actually pretty bad. Also, it would have been good to know that yard maintenance and work was taking place on both Saturday and Sunday, especially when we had a dog with us. Lastly, some of the communication with the property manager (Vacasa) was inconsistent, sometimes good & timely, other times very slow or questionable. All that being said, we would consider staying again.

No house cleaning
When we arrived, we were pleased with the neighborhood and the home’s initial impression, however, we found a note on the counter from the previous renters who stated the dishwasher was broken and was full of dirty dishes upon their arrival. They also said the laundry wasn’t finished. The dishes were still dirty, and no laundry had been done prior to our arrival. We had to make our own beds from the scant amount of clean linens in a hall closet. There were piles of dirty towels and linen in every room and practically no clean dishes left. We attempted to contact Vacasa rentals and the only recompense we got was to refund us our cleaning fee. We even got a notification before arriving that we could check in earlier as the home had been cleaned early, which clearly, it hadn’t been attended to in over 3 stays. I would not recommend this place or company to anyone!

We originally had another place reserved but something happened that we could not stay. Vacasa did an impressive job rebooking another place in the same vicinity within about 15-20 minutes. The Duck Den did not disappoint. It was perfect for our family. Very clean inside. I was impressed with the kitchen and bathrooms. Well stocked home for families. Plenty of towels, dishes & appliances. It was a home away from home. Definitely plan to stay here again when we come to visit my son.

The home is great, so comfortable and lots of space to spread out. Very clean, nice little yard, new neighborhood with easy access to everything. Less than 10 min to campus. Everything in great condition, well supplied.

This home was a home-away-from-home for our family/extended family and two pups while in town for a memorial service. It was clean, comfortable and secure. We also enjoyed the backyard with the patio furniture, landscaping and full fencing to keep our pups safe.
