We stopped here on the way home from a 10 day vacation the check in was different then I have ever seen before it was done with a kiosk, I was a little hesitant at 1st but it went very smooth, the best part was my wife left over 10k in jewelry in the dresser, we called when she realized it and they were amazing they found the jewelry took it to a store and overnighted it to us, Thank you

We needed the pull-out couch for our 3rd child (14 years old) but the bed frame was bent so the bed was on an angle sloping into the couch. When I reported it, there were no other rooms available, so it was suggested by the front desk that we could put our pillow on the opposite end. When I said no, she suggested bringing a cot as an option. I agreed as it was the only option left at this point and when she brought to the room, she let us know we would not be charged the extra fee for a cot. (as if that were ever up for debate) There was also hair in the bathroom and the bathtub tiles were coming off.

First time with a "virtual front desk person" to check us in - this was a weird and cold start to our experience. We stayed two nights and only after we got back late for the second night were we told they "typically don't clean the rooms between stays". Since the cleaning staff had left already, all we could do is get clean towels. The "free" breakfast of chemical mini muffins in packages (no expiry date), old apples, and granola bars was very disappointing to say the least. I'll know better for next time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Cleaning staff can do better job cleaning rooms. There was a lot of hair in our bed from prior guests. Hotel can probably do a better job of up keep in the bathroom, doors, sheets, and curtains. There were holes in sheets and the curtains. The doors of the rooms were dingy and run down.

The property was fine, rooms clean, access easy. The staff called and left a message to see if I had pets, I returned the call no less the 8-9 times and the phone was never answered and no option to leave a message. Check in was a video screen conference call, I did not like the lack of in person service. This would not be my first choice of places to stay in that area if I were returning.

Obsurd check in and check out process
The check in and check out process is conducted remotely with a company out of Asia. The poor guy checking in before he was super angry about the process which made everyone in the lobby uncomfortable. Also we can see and hear private information of the screen. This was a bad idea.

We were there for three nights and they didn’t do room service once. Ee had to ask for more towels, had to set an over flowing garage can outside our door twice. The floors in the room needed a daily cleaning which they did not do.

Not a nice area. Crescent city is really run down. Zoom call desk agent was so impersonal. What’s wrong with staffing a live person?? And no staff or security all night? Room reeked like ammonia cleaner. To the point we all had headaches in the morning. I can’t imagine what happened in that room before us that they needed to such strong cleaner. Needless to say, we did not stick around in the morning.

The hotel was simple and clean. The front desk staff was friendly. The room looks recently remodeled. The bed was a bit hard but we still slept well. The breakfast is not really a breakfast. It is breakfast snacks such as small muffins and granola bars. Overall, it was satisfactory.

This inn deserves a 0/10 rating, but I have to give credit to the fact that they offered us a refund and the location is near the beach. Firstly, I attempted to call the inn 3 times with no luck. Secondly, the check-in process was impersonal, as we were greeted by a kiosk instead of a staff member at the front desk. Thirdly, upon entering our room, we noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the door, shredded curtains, and insufficient window coverage for privacy. The bed sheets and mattress were also soiled, and the air vent looked like it had never been cleaned. Lastly, the bathroom reeked of fresh paint and the room had a stale odor. The Inn attempted to "resolve" the problem by checking us out and informed us to handle the refund ourselves through the booking agency. There weren't any other sleeping options within a 60-mile radius. This was by far the worst sleeping arrangement I've ever encountered. Fortunately, I had no issue sleeping in my car rather than staying at Anchor Beach Inn. I strongly advise against booking here.

The room was spacious and in great condition. However, we found that the hotel has no elevator and no luggage cart to carry stuff. Breakfast was takeaway and average. We were checked in by some remote employee.

Reasonably priced. Large room. Good lighting in the room. Easy access and close to the beach and dining. "Grab and go" breakfast could have offered a little more variety.
