Clean, and staff helpful...but rooms declining with shredding carpet and MOST old & uncomfortable couches (as experienced in recent visits) Breakfast "sparten" 1 of 2 days (9am) Pool again had chemical issues, so no use (felt bad for family weekend use)

Meh…
The day we checked in the desk clerk was as friendly as a rattlesnake. Made us feel absolutely unwelcome. The next morning the staff was so friendly. The indoor pool was ICE COLD! The pool room had no towels in it. Our room was not clean. There was dirt and a small shell on the bathroom floor. The kitchen staff for breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful!

***DO NOT STAY HERE!!*** Pictures posted are VERY OLD and need updated to show the TRUE STATE of this place. The hot tub was drained and had a plastic net around it, the pool was closed Friday night, the hallway/entrance closest to our room REAKED OF POT our whole stay. If I could rate this hotel, I would rate -5/10!! It was definitely NOT worth the money that I paid for the room to celebrate my husband's birthday and our anniversary!

The trash was over flowing at the entrance, smokers were smoking right in front of the building. The room smelled of smoke, and the linen was dingy. The deadbolt was in need of repair, and did not make me feel secure knowing that I had to adjust the door to get it to lock properly. Shower shelving was hanging loosely on the wall and the bathtub was not properly cleaned. Very disappointed in this property and would not stay again.

We found this hotel to be a fine option for our stay during the car show in town. They set out cleaning station for us, and bent over backwards to take care of our needs. Did not have anything negative to say about our stay and will plan to stay again when in Evansville.

I was very impressed with the room. Very spacious and everything I could have wanted. Next to a beautiful lake!! BUT, my room reeked of cigarette smoke. I wanted to go demand another room but it was super late and my daughter was embarrassed. We roughed it out and fell asleep. I didn’t take toiletries…and their provided bottles were empty.

Property was in a safe location and the desk clerks were all nice and friendly. The room looked like it was half way cleaned. There was stains on two of the couch cushions, the breakfast in the morning was mid but constantly waiting on food to be brought out or coffee refilled, the last two days the waffle machine was broken. The hot tub was completely drained and fenced off and the pool had so much chlorine in it that my husband and I's eyes burned and stung horribly we ended up having to cut the kids swimming short. The bed wasn't comfortable there was no slip mat in the tub and my youngest slipped and hit her head while trying to shower. We ended up purchasing one at Walmart the next day. Overall we won't be back to this location.
