Welcome to your cozy lake getaway! This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage with many outdoor adventures is the best spot for you. The large fenced in back yard will provide a space perfect for evening campfires, and the potential for a camp out. The large front deck is great for sitting in the relaxing northern Michigan atmosphere. With lake access (no dock access) only a 60 second walk away, you’ll have access to Chippewa Lake, a 790 acre lake. This lake is great for fishing, kayaking, boating, and more! Two kayaks are located on the property to use at your pleasure. Great nearby golfing, hunting, and dining all within less than a 30 minute drive. Your lake life weekend awaits!

A lot of potential !!!!
The house had spiders and cobwebs everywhere ! The back yard did have kayaks and a shed filled with very nice things however the wolf spiders and cobwebs were out of control and the kayaks needed to be severely cleaned we got into the shed and ended up making beautiful fire we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a big deal if we would’ve stayed more days we would have cleaned the kayaks but nobody has time for cleaning when there visiting for a short time . There was also NO WIFI . It does say there is and when you get there there is login information however it didn’t connect and we weren’t gonna keep pressing the issue as it wasn’t a big deal to us but to some it may !! Overall it was a nice area for a beach day and then somewhere to just crash ! As long as you’re cool with bugs and not having Wifi !

Great stay!
Perfect for what we wanted. Large fenced in back yard with fire pit and fantastic hard wood provided. Great communication. Nice Lake! We used the kayaks and loved that. Made for one of my best father's day weekends ever.

Quick easy stop
Stopped in for a short stay and enjoyed our time. The community around the house and local bar were not friendly during Memorial weekend. We were not able to locate the public access to the water from the house but maybe we did not venture off far enough. The house was cute and mostly clean, and the bed was comfy.

Lilac Festival
The weekend was 90*+ and even though there isn’t AC the cottage stayed comfortable. I felt the floors were not clean enough & the porch could have been swept clear of all the cobwebs. And the main bed is a full size and too small for us. We were gone most of the day time so it was ok. And the owners were fast when we had a question. Neighborhood was quiet and lots of tall trees for shade!

Cozy cottage
Had family coming from Las Vegas we needed a place to stay that allowed animals. Was very satisfied with the accommodations. We love the fact that it was a fenced in backyard for the dogs. Very friendly neighborhood. Very friendly host. I will definitely use them again if and when we have to get together with family.
