This was the second time I stayed here, the staff are very friendly and helpful the chef even came in early one day so I could have breakfast. The food is outstanding and the service is 2nd to none.

4 horseshoe excellent
Was a last minute find as the place we had booked had closed down so i looked and found this gem of a place definitely recommended to anyone especially if you have a dog 🐕 as its a dog friendly place. Food was amazing and drinks was good too.. all round excellent 👌 👏 👍

99 % excellent 👌
On the plus side, warm friendly atmosphere, nice happy staff in a beautiful pub ,a great pleasure being there for 2 nights. The minus is room 27 above the gents with a noisy air hand dryer going off every few minutes in the evening.

Have stayed several times over about 6 years - always good food and beer and friendly efficient staff - lovely location - a proper traditional English pub - I recognised local customers from previous stays so they keep coming back as well. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful property with very friendly staff. They were great with my kids. The beds are rather old and the sofa bed provided was not comfortable for my kids.
