Into the Woods- an Alaskan luxury yurt glamping experience

Be our guest- Enjoy a one of a kind stay when you step outside, inside our yurt, and Into the Woods. Enjoy the Northern Lights overhead from your bed or while relaxing in the hammock. Treat your senses to the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Alaskan forest including a complimentary breakfast featuring make your own waffles, local birch and berry syrups, teas, farm fresh eggs, artwork and more. See what local plants and animals you can identify during your stay. We have had a few local guests including a great horned owl, grouse and the occasional moose. Conveniently located between Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs Resort. GF/DF options available.

Located at the top of our 5 acre homestead, experience everything the Alaskan boreal forest has to offer and retreat to your own little sanctuary Into the Woods.

Once inside, leave your worries at the door and surround yourself in the comforts of nature or feel free to drop your bags and venture a little farther up the road to enjoy the Chena Hot Springs State Recreation Area and/or Chena Hot Springs Resort.

In addition to your stay, we'd like to treat you to an authentic Alaskan breakfast featuring specialties brought to you by the boreal forest including:

Coffee - we invite and encourage you to support other local businesses in the area which include: Larae's Bakery and coffee shop and/or The Missing Moose cafe for your coffee of choice ( we do offer a caffeinated tea from Sipping Streams used on the YUKON QUEST that will keep you going all day. )

Plumbing- As part of the "glamping" experience -
we are what is considered by the locals as a "dry cabin" or yurt, which means running water is not available, however, a 5 gallon water dispenser with hot and cold water is provided for drinking and cooking and a private outhouse is available for a true Alaskan experience.

Showers are available for purchase at our local laundramat 8 miles up the road** or enjoy a soak at Chena Hot Springs Resort and come back feeling refreshed and ready to relax. **WE are happy to provide a shower kit upon request with two towels, wash clothes, soap and travel shampoo and conditioner.
