The Alaskan Dream Lodge

Be blown away by this beautiful updated log home that is only two minutes away from the airport!

This home features a spacious living room with a six top dining room table and eat-in breakfast bar looking into the brand new kitchen! Additionally on the main level, there is one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a tiled shower/tub down the hall. Climb on upstairs to two more queen bedrooms and a half bath. Both bedrooms feature vaulted ceilings and tongue and groove pine throughout! Each of these bedrooms additionally have their own smart TVs to sit back, relax and enjoy. Additionally there is a private washer and dryer available for use. If you are traveling with little ones we also have a pack and play, high chair, books, games and toys available.

When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods. The kitchen is full stocked with a variety of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals.

The home is located on the Westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about one hour away and Denali National Park is about two hours away. The bus line and bike paths are a couple blocks away.

Are you traveling with a large group?! Additionally on the property are two separate short-term rental units. One is a one bedroom one bath cabin, and the other is a three bedroom one and a half bathroom with an attached garage. Please inquiry for booking multiple units on the property.

Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority!

You will have full access to the entire house.

We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home.

Nice neighborhood close to the airport!

It is best recommended to have a rental car or vehicle. Walking around the neighborhood is acceptable.

Quiet, Comfy and close to town

This is a great comfy home. It's close enough to town but tucked away enough to feel private. There isn't any noise from the airport. We loved the coffee selection and candy available to us. I would recommend a stay her if you are traveling to Fairbanks.

Home away from home

Tera, Bobby and Bittner are the wonderful hosts of the best equipped cozy cabin in Fairbanks. The charming log cabin style home features a downstairs bed and bath and two more bedrooms and a half bath up a flight of very steep stairs. Everything is top notch and they the best stocked kitchen. Bathtub could use a grab bar and is slippery. Pick up a bag of ice and check the kitchen before you shop at the nearby Fred Mayer. Keurig coffee, snacks, cocoa, even oatmeal and cup of noodles in the kitchen. Enjoy this delightful home.

Great getaway

Awesome comfortable place. Perfect for my family. Enjoyed the beautiful northern lights just outside in driveway. Close enough to town not to have to be on icy roads too long. Would love to stay again for a different season!

The cabin was as advertised. It was clean and well stocked. The interior was spectacular! The host was very quick in getting back to me with any questions I had prior to our arrival. My wife used it one night for herself and her bridesmaids and we stayed our wedding night. I would definitely recommend this to others.

North to Alaska Friends 2024

We were a group of 6 friends that stayed for one night upon arrival to Fairbanks for our 1600 mile road trip around Alaska. The cabin was located very close to the airport. It was very clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable. We had everything we needed for an overnight stay - even some special treats and a bottle of champagne! We would definitely recommend!

Terrific lodge!

We were very impressed with the Alaska Dream Lodge. Located next to the Fairbanks airport, but no noise from the planes taking off and landing. Safeway and Fred Meyer grocery stores only a couple of minutes away. Very close to local attractions including Pioneer Park, Alaska Salmon Bake, Riverboat Discovery, the Chena River, and the University of Alaska. The Lodge is smartly appointed and has all the amenities you would want for a family. 3 separate bedrooms with comfy beds and linens. 3 televisions where you can stream your favorite streaming service. Blackout curtains. 1 1/2 bath with bathtub. Full kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, K-cup machine. (No dishwasher). Full sized washer and dryer. Comfortable couch and recliners. Amazingly soft throw pillows and blankets. Dining room table for 6. No central air because it is Alaska. But the ceiling fan in the family room and the floor fans provided were more than adequate. Plus, we just opened the windows to let in the cool air. (There is central heat). There was even a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, bottles of water, k-cup coffee and a few snacks. Condiments and basic spices provided. Sufficient dishes, glasses, utensils and cooking tools. We didn’t have to buy anything extra for our 3 night stay. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent. Even shampoo and conditioner and soap for the shower. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and highly recommend it.

Close enough to the airport to be convenient, but far enough away that you don’t hear planes coming and going. Very comfortable beds and we very very much appreciated the welcome bottle of champagne!

Stayed 4 nights! Everything was as good or better than expected! I have one small complaint. The bed we slept in was very squishy and we had a hard time. We kept rolling into the middle and sinking into the bed. The other 3 beds were not that way. The place was cleaner than expected and the kitchen well appointed. If we come to Fairbanks we shall try and stay again!!!

Absolute Gem!

The Alaskan Dream home was a wonderful place to stay! The place felt like home with all the provided amenities, the hosts went above and beyond with providing snacks and water during our stay! It's a very charming cabin, roomy, comfortable and clean. Cabin is equipped with some daily essentials, drinks and snacks. Convenient to get to the grocery stores and is very close to the airport.

Truly Alaskan Dream

We absolutely loved our time at the Alaskan Dream Lodge! The home exceeded our expectations-which were already a little higher because the listing looked so nice! The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and in a very central location. There was plenty of room for our whole family of 6. The kitchen was extremely spacious and well stocked. Not only did our hosts provide the normal household needs but they went above and beyond adding snacks, wine and drinks! They catered well to families with toys, books, Netflix, pack n play and a high hair. It was the perfect cozy-cottage stay for our weekend visiting the Ice Art Championships! Thank you for hosting Tera and family!
