Overall our stay was alright--we mentioned before we arrived that it was our anniversary on the 20th--they said they would make note--I mentioned it when we arrived--they said they would make note--nothing special was done on the 20th like they said they would do-that was disappointing--our room had an ocean view but the balcony had a white cement wall blocking the view that our kids could not even see over--thousands of other rooms had glass walls to enjoy the ocean view--this was disappointing--and our king size bedroom was in the room with no windows are view whatsoever and we were the ones paying for the room--our kids got the room with the balcony--this was disappointing. WE found certain staff around the resort to be short, cold, and rude whereas many others were very sweet and accommodating. For the price we paid--the experience did not match.

My expectations for this resort were very high considering it just opened. I ran into so many issues in so many different sectors. My room was dirty , no trash can liners in the waste bin. Weird residue on the night stand , no wash clothes in the bathroom . Halfway into my stay the sealing began leaking - like anyone i called the front desk it took almost three hours for someone to come I have time stamps to prove this . I slipped and fell and hurt my hip . No management or anyone followed up with me on this.i had to call multiple times to get the leak addressed . No housekeeping came after to clean up the water etc . Just dirty wet towels left. Staff is rude at the buffet. Please save your money . This was not a vacation but a nightmare i would Never come back here

Aquarelle is a beautiful property. The staff is amazing. The food is great. Sports Bar and Cappuccino were big hits with our group. Ate at Pepis everyday for lunch. The pool slides even made us feel like kids again. Appreciated Ojay at the pool area running aerobics, working all day, dancing all night. We had Mr. Edwards running for drinks on the beach - hard worker. Loidriana (sp) worked hard in the Sports Bar. The entire staff is just incredible.

One of the better all inclusive resorts in the Montego Bay Area, if you are looking for a great vacation. Excellent food options and plenty of things do and enjoy during your stay. Staff is very helpful too.

Overall Riu Aquarelle is good but has some opportunities to become great. Improve the WiFi, make morning coffee bar available earlier, advance the entertainment to start at 7-8 va 9-10. Hotel can benefit from an ATM on premises as well.

I traveled alone and felt safe on the property. There were many things to do with different restaurant options. The staff were SUPER friendly and accommodating. I had a wonderful time and will come again.

Good but not great!
Everything was good except for getting waited on around the pool and the beach. Also it was our 10th anniversary and all we received was a piece of cake and one cookie! The last thing was the internet was lousy. I have included a photo of what we received for our anniversary witch anyone can get at the buffet!

Our stay was really nice. Entertainment was top notch. I like every thing about the experience except for the food. The buffet food didn’t look fresh sometimes and it’s always the same everyday. I recommend the Steak house dinner. That was the best food I had. We also had dinner at Napoli Italian cuisine but that chicken parmigiana taste like it was from last week. Otherwise everything else was great.

Great place to stay, I didn’t want to leave, but when they cut the Riu bracelet off of my wrist… I was saddened, so I sincerely vowed that I would return very soon to experience this beautiful resort in Trelawney…
