"This has to be one of the best rooms I have stayed in for a while. And puts some of the major luxury hotels to shame. I stayed in the 'Portland' room which is very quirky and well equipped. Lots of nice touches like hot chocolate. biscuits, bath robes and slippers and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sofa. It even had a washing machine ! The rooms are next the pub which does great food and a nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly. Thanks. A wonderful stay."

"This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. We had a really nice stay and the room was good value. Breakfast was also very nice The location is excellent. If you want four five star then this may not meet your expectations, but if you want, clean comfortable, well located and friendly then it gets our vote."

"We all enjoyed our stay at Wildflower Cottage and would recommend this property, located in a lovely area, ideal for visiting Weymouth and the surrounding area. There was everything that we needed at the property with a well-equipped kitchen, good sized bedrooms, living space and garden. The check-in process was easy with straight forward details of the property and instructions for leaving. There was also useful information of the local area and places to visit. One member of our party found the bed uncomfortable and there were some marks on the under-bedding. The garden was was a little unkempt in areas and there were some brambles prominent but this didn't prevent us from using the area. Overall, an enjoyable stay with helpful, friendly communication from the owner and neighbours. "
