Overall good. Get breakfast elsewhere.
Comfortable room. Overall, nice stay. Complimentary breakfast was disappointing as not kept stocked up on primary items and service attendant was too slow to keep up with barely average guest traffic.

Noisy hotel!
This hotel is near one of the busiest streets in Fargo. Our room faced this street. It was extremely noisy with car and street noise even with the fan and air running constantly.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Pull out couch mattress had pee stains.Breakfast was typical continental pre-cooked food. Large sitting area was enjoyed by our large group. Teenagers enjoyed pool.

Disappointing end to our vacation. After checking in we discovered that the sink had only cold-water supply. The bathroom door could not be closed. The coffee maker triggered constantly the GFCI. Mattress has seen better days (imprints of previous guest were still visible). Overall, a not very well-maintained facility. When contacting the front desk, we were told that maintenance is not available today, but she would contact the manager to see what could be done. After 1-1/2 hour of no response, we contacted the front desk again to be told that she had left a massage for maintenance. Maintenance showed up the next morning and determined that the cartridge in the sink needed to be replaced. He wasn't sure if he had a replacement otherwise he would order one. He also acknowledged the door needed fixing. We had booked the room in advance for two days. None of the issues had been addressed during that time. We were very disappointed. This was supposed to be the end of our 3-week vacation and we were looking forward to a relaxing 2 days in Fargo. I guess it was not meant to be. Would I ever stay at a Windgate Hotel again? Probably not.
