Couldn't adjust the radiator in the room which meant the room was like a sauna, asked the reception who failed to fix the issue. When I complained to Hotels.com the reception said there was no air con which, I knew this-this wasn't the issue, all I wanted was to turn the radiator off!!

We stayed for one night and after reading a few of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive, but our stay was lovely. The staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the room was very clean and nice. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the jacuzzi stopped working just before we got into it. Other than that all was great.

Spa pool full of screaming unsupervised kids, water very murky. Young lad on towel counter completely uninterested in anything apart from his phone. Rooms not clean, restaurant completely lacking any atmosphere, staff uninterested and food more like a poor Weatherspoons.

Reception & bar staff friendly and very competent. Incorrect times advertised for Spa and so we were ejected early which was disappointing as we'd had a long journey and very busy day. Room small and no option to charge phones next to bed.

Lovely and comfortable, great facilities
Friendly staff in reception and restaurant, amazing facilities clean and little things that are considered eg bag for wet swimwear in pool. Only complaint is the electrical equipment in room is out of date for PAT testing( I'm a health and safety officer so notice these things) and the food in restaurant, mainly breakfast could be improved as it was cold... Might be better to let guests order as they come in than the buffer style
