Nachsaison in Corsica
Ich war mit meiner Familie Mitte September bis Anfang Oktober in Favone. Die Anreise von Bastia (Fähre) mit dem Auto hat etwa 2 Stunden gedauert. Einchecken auch nach der offiziellen Öffnungszeit der Rezeption war problemlos. Ein Anruf und wenige Minuten später kam ein MItarbeiter vorbei. Die Wohnung ist hübsch eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Ein kleiner Schaden am Terrassenbelag und ein verstopfter Abfluss in der Dusche wurden unmittelbar nach der Meldung in Ordnung gebracht. Der Strand vor der Haustür kann es durchaus mit den bekannteren und gehypeden Stränden anderswo auf der Insel aufnehmen: superklares Wasser und schön ruhig. Die Anlage eignet sich aufgrund ihrer Lage gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Innere der Insel und entlang der Küste.
Tipp: Restaurant Le Favona in bequemer Laufentfernung.

Wunderbare Lage, schönes Apartment - fast perfekt!
Die Lage zum Strand ist ganz wunderbar - jeden Tag mit dem ersten Kaffee zum Meer gehen war ein schönes Ritual. Der Strand von Favone ist zwar nicht der schönste in der Umgebung, aber recht groß und vielfältig - und nicht so überlaufen. Auch die Nähe zu den Gumpen (kleinen Bademöglichkeiten im Fluss der Solenzara, ganz in der Nähe) ist toll. Das Apartment war schön, für uns zu dritt ausreichend. Das Elternbett war uns fast etwas zu schmal, die Küchenausstattung zweckmäßig, für den Urlaub ausreichend. Zwei Knackpunkte: Wir hatten ein Apartment im Erdgeschoss - die Wohnungen sind leider extrem hellhörig. Über uns war eine Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern, die ab früh um sechs oder sieben auf und ab gerannt sind - was in unserer Wohnung darunter das etwas länger ausschlafen unmöglich gemacht hat. Und: Das WLan ist zwar vorhanden aber extrem schlecht, langsam und oft gar nicht zu erreichen. Wer WLan braucht ist hier tatsächlich schlecht aufgehoben. Ansonsten: Gerne wieder, vor allem wegen der perfekten Lage zum Meer.
