EXPERIENCE A RESTORATION
Lafayette Flats Boutique Vacation Rentals: Four modern vacation rentals in one historic building.

These unique lofts are located on the upper two floors of a 100-year-old cut-stone building. The interior of the building has been lovingly renovated with new electrical, plumbing, and individual heating/cooling systems, but retains much of the original architectural detail and charm.

This listing is for Flat #1, Nuttall. It is located on the second floor. You will travel up one very large art-filled stairwell (23 steps) to reach your beautiful flat. Please note: there is no elevator in this historic building.

Nuttall can accommodate two adults in one bedroom. It contains a queen-size bed. All four of our flats are designed for couples.

Enjoy a long soak in the claw foot tub or a refreshing shower under the raindrop showerhead. You'll find William Roam toiletries for your convenience. The beautiful view of the historic courthouse might distract you from the LED HD television, but you are sure to sleep well on the high-quality sheets under glowing café lights. Best place to stay in Fayetteville
We absolutely loved our stay at the Lafayette Flats. We actually stayed in Eddy (originally booked Nutall but then switched to be on the top floor). The flat was spacious, immaculately clean (I’m pretty picky), and really comfortable. We enjoyed the provided coffee packs and supplies, appreciated the book of recommendations and information, and loved being right in town to walk to pretty much everything. Check in and check out processes were seamless, the stairs weren’t a problem for us (good workout!), and parking was easy and convenient. Amy was so easy to reach if we had any questions, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay in the are. Highly recommend!

Cute flat in small town near the bridge
The flat itself is very clean and well-decorated. It feels artistic but also cozy. It's located on one of the blocks adjacent to the one stoplight downtown, across from the courthouse. There's a few restaurants (and many shops) that easy to walk to. Overall, it was very quaint and quiet. Most importantly, the flat is fewer than ten minutes away from many hiking trails and the bridge itself. It's a great place to stay for a getaway. One minor note is that we found the bed to be a bit small (maybe it's a full; I'm used to a queen) and the mattress a bit uncomfortable (it's not hard, but it's not plush). That may or may not make a difference for you.

Beautiful unit in a great location where you can walk to shops and restaurants. It is also only a short 5 minutes drive to NRG National Park and white water rafting. Overall great stay at this location!

This property could not have been better! The owners went the extra mile to provide for the comfort and happiness of their guests. We loved our flat ~ it was roomy, beautifully decorated and just a pleasant place to call home for a few days. The town of Fayetteville is charming and outdoor/nature activities abound. Perfect home base for visiting New River Gorge NP and surrounding area.
Everything went smoothly start to finish during our stay at the Nuttall Suite in Lafayette Flats. Communication from the hosts was excellent and the flat was beyond clean, comfortable and well appointed. The decor was inviting and filled with beautiful and whimsical art work and Knick knacks. A notebook containing info regarding the history of Fayetteville as well as eateries was helpful. We had a great time hiking, white water rafting, and doing the Bridge Walk. Everyone in this town so helpful and friendly! Two cute stores located right near the flats as well as restaurants you can walk to. Can’t say enough about the cleanliness and extra touches at Lafayette Flats!

Perfect anniversary stay
This is our second time staying in Lafayette Flats, but our first time in Nuttall. We got married in the area during our first stay and had a perfect experience with the hosts and the property. In fact, our stay in the Flats contributed to some wonderful wedding weekend memories that will last a lifetime. Returning after five years was surreal as we celebrated an important milestone in our marriage. The Nuttall room was impeccably clean and the decor was so creative. It even gave us some fun ideas for our own house! The check-in process was seamless and the expanded parking options since last time made that part even easier. The location is convenient to everything in the area. We couldn’t recommend Lafayette Flats enough. NRG now has the National Park status it deserves, and Lafayette Flats are a fitting world-class lodging option.

The Perfect Vacation
After previously staying in Quinnimont (and LOVING it), my husband and I decided we'd like to try Nuttall as well. My goodness, we were not disappointed. Staying in the flats for almost an entire week left us feeling rejuvenated, creatively inspired, and anticipating our next stay already. When planning your visit don't forget to schedule time to enjoy the flats themselves: the WV themed library, DVDs, soaking in the tub (especially delightful after a long day of adventuring), puzzles and games, cooking in the kitchen, sipping coffee in some of the comfiest seating, the list goes on. I cannot recommend staying at Lafayette Flats enough nor could I recommend visiting Fayetteville, itself, enough. The possibilities for your trip are endless and your stay at The Flats will be the icing on the cake.

My husband and I loved our stay at Lafayette flats. We were there to hike in the gorge and the flat was the perfect launching point. Great walkable location to shops and restaurants. The bed was super comfy and the shower was wonderful after a long hike. I wish I had made time for a soak in the tub too. There are lots of places to curl up with a good book too. The flat was filled with natural light and wonderful art. I highly recommend staying there. I’m sure we will be back.

Fabulous stay in Fayetteville
Amy and Shawn’s place is wonderful! Great location, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated! They have truly thought of everything to make a stay at Lafayette Flats cozy and comfy. Communication with Amy and Shawn before, during, and after our stay was amazing! It is evident that they enjoy hosting travelers at their accommodations, and they excel at it. This flat was exactly what we were looking for and was exactly as pictured on the listing!! The space allowed for relaxing evenings in after long days hiking and touring the town. Every detail was considered, down to the black “makeup” towel in the bathroom. I LOVE little details. My husband and I also really appreciated and used the binder with location and restaurant suggestions. We had planned quite a few activities prior to arrival but the binder helped us to add a few other activities/locations we weren’t aware of in to our trip. Cannot say enough good things about the flat/location of the flat. We walked to almost every restaurant we ate at during our stay! Perfect, Perfect, perfect!!! :)
