This condo can accommodate up to eight people. It is great for a small get away with friends or a family holiday. Set against the backdrop of the Elk River or the Fernie Alpine Ski Resort and the Lizard Mountain Range, our three bedroom condo is ideal for any group looking to escape into the mountains in luxury. The condo comes fully equipped including washer and dryer, full kitchen, fireplace and TV,. The main living space has a sofa bed, the master bedroom has one queen while the second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has one queen bed. As with all of our chalets, the views of Fernie are breathtaking and worth the visit all in themselves. There is no air conditioning in these units..... NO PET ALLOWED IN ANY CONDO

Good but basic
It’s not the best equipped kitchen and the neighbours were noisy, but the proximity to the pool (400 m) was great for apres ski swims for the kids. I must e misread that 2 of the beds were in a loft and sound from talking adults carried right to it (not ideal for people trying to sleep there ahead of others). Proximity to the ski hill was awesome and we always lucked out with finding parking right out front for both of our vehicles.

Overall good.
We were happy with the house.
The basement is fabulous. Nice huge couch laundry lots of space and a good TV. There is one bedroom that my husband and I used, it’s a little small but fine. There is a nice bathroom downstairs as well.
The kitchen are is definitely tight at the table but we managed fine. Note that there are all the pots, slow cooker and two fridges. One up one down. There are two nice bedrooms with ensuites each.
Basically for the price we were satisfied.

Best place for kids
This is a great place to stay. Lots of room, quite basement for kids to play, bunk beds, waterslide, and close to the ski hill and mtn bike trails.

We have stayed at these condos many times before. In general the unit is starting to show its age (ie shower curtains are trash) . Heating is tricky in the bedrooms (basement was freezing). Pictures on the VRBO site do not reflect this unit. There is no loft as stated, it is two bedrooms and bathrooms on Main with a bedroom (bunks) and games room/ living room in basement with very awkwardly positioned furniture. That being said, it has everything you need and only a 5 min drive to the ski hill. Check in was very slow (big line ups) with only one staff member working the check in desk. When I got to the front at 4:05, was told the unit was not ready to come back in 30 min. When I returned and stood in line again, it was still not ready. For a “4 pm” check in we did not get keys until 4:55.
