Shuttle bus was punctual and reliable (on the hour, hourly). Property is a 5 minute drive at the top of a winding steep hill (hence the stunning panoramic views of Florence & surrounding area). Driver returns if bus is full.
Static caravan was clean but lacked some cooking equipment, no kettle, oven or iron. We were able to cook pasta and make scrambled eggs, but little else. Full size fridge, really appreciated in the heat. Aircon took the edge off the heat but didn't cool the room. Cicada beetles are loud if you aren't used to them! Pool really nice and clean. It would have been nice to know that swim hats are obligatory- not particularly nice to wear on holiday, but available to buy for 2 euro. A few more chairs / loungers would be good as people claim for the day by putting towels down. Provisions can be bought from the Coop in Fiesole - campsite shop doesn't sell much more than croissants and beverages. Restaurant food is very nice, though we didn't feel as welcome / accommodated as the Italian visitors.
Recommend staying here when a little cooler - views are amazing, location great (easy commute to Fiesole and Florence using public bus Nr7) and pool is idyllic. Avoid July/Aug due to heat and mosquitos.
