"I only stayed one night but I cannot fault the experience. The staff members were very friendly and helpful and the room was warm, clean and comfortable. I slept really well! Breakfast was plentiful and the full English looked amazing but more than I could cope with. I settled for Eggs Benedict and coffee, which was plenty to keep me going for the morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "

"This is an excellent location to stay when staying on Mersea Island. Plenty of restaurants nearby and few minute walk to sea. Well appointed house with good garden facilities, owner in good contact if needed. Thank you"

"This place is magical, if you love the old world, bygone times as I would put it. The cottage is amazing. You have a view from every room, kitchen, lounge, master bedroom, even the bathroom (if youre sitting on the loo) Its amazing.Whoever built this place years ago, they knew what they were doing. Im missing the view so much now Im home, its amazing. The hosts are great. They really do everything they can to make you welcome. This is a fabulous place. So glad I booked it."

"Everything was as listed….the log burner was an added feature which we were happy to use on rainy days. The location was really goid… Colchester close and historically very interesting. North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. Ovreall it was everything we wished for “"
