Was not aware that since we booked that the pool and sauna amenities would be closed. After hiking in the Grand Canyon this was the number one reason why we booked at this establishment. There was no compensation offered for reduced amenities, no apologies. The food and drinks were good, but wildly expensive. Great atmosphere and lots of really cute touches in the room.

The lobby and property grounds were done very well. We loved the vibe in the lobby. The room itself somewhat matched the vibe but was pretty standard, nothing really stood out. Close to the train tracks, so just know you will hear that at all hours. The air conditioner in our room was not working right. Made noises all night, just wanted the fan to run but it wouldn't. Made for a rough night of sleep. Thin walls, heard the people next door until late and very early the next morning. Will try somewhere else next time.

We were traveling with our 2 young girls and safety and cleanliness is our main concern. The lodge is dog friendly and we encountered no issues with my 130lb service dog.The staff was accommodating and kind. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and the other guests were friendly and it felt safe. Hands down we’d stay again on our travels. The only bummer was that the cold plunge/pool project wasn’t complete yet.

A Disappointing stay
Our room was lovely. However, the pool was under construction and the gym was also not available!! For these two major amenities not available, i feel they should have returned some of the cost of the room itself!! We should have also been notified prior to making a reservation that these amenities were not available.

Entry keycards were not activated when tried to enter room. Remote control batteries were dead and corroded. Room was dark and not well cleaned. Food and drinks were expensive but good.
