Greeted by a very pleasant and friendly girl on reception, who welcomed us and explained where our room was, plus gave us the vouchers for the morning's breakfast at the service station opposite. There is replenishment available for the tea and coffee facilities at reception, as well as snacks and drinks on offer to purchase. Room was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed, tv was great too. Bathroom spotless, with plenty of loo roll, shampoo and soap. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for the surrounding area, as very close to lots of attractions if you aren't from the area.

Dont order breakfast, pay more for much better
Rooms ok but not very clean. Mould, damp, dirty carpets, and beds not great. Breakfast is a voucher for 'The Good Breakfast' at the services over the road which we had to ask for and should have been guven to us when we checked in and had to fight to get them with the guy and the desk who said we didnt have breakfast as we didnt pay for it and it came under 'Amenities' which i had to explain to him meant we purchased it, then only gave us 2 instead of 4 vouchers so missed out on 2 breakfasts we paid for. Rooms not great, carpets dirty, mould and damp, not ventilation. Wouldnt go back. Would rather spend £30 more for a premier inn

I was able to check in early which was great as I had traveled all night and was quite tired. Room was clean and staff very nice. Did seem to be some noise from some truck that was in the gas station near... just a low idle from some big rig.. over all good stay

The hotel was cheap so wasn’t expecting much. However there were a few stains to the carpet, bathroom was dated and looked like it needed a deep clean. One of beds was unmade and I had to get sheets from reception. Other than that location etc was all fine for a 2 night stay.

Not again in a hurry
My sheets were dirty and had 2 dead flies on them. As a single parent im very careful abput who i share my bed with so you can imagine my shock at my two unwelcome bedmates. The cups were dirty and one of my towels had a dirty footprint on it when i got it out to shower. I bought a new towel. However, every single person who works there was lovely and polite and friendly although hesitant to provide spare sheets when my son did a wee in his bed. I mean, it is what it is, but i certainly wont be rushing to stay there again or in fact to book a days in again.
