Our 50 acre working farm with cows, pigs, goats, and chickens hosts 2 accommodations, a cabin and a farmhouse. You can rent one or both. Both offer on site fishing (catch and release only), row boating, hiking trails, campfires, outdoor grills, children's play structures, indoor and outdoor games, self-guided farm tours...
House with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, only 2 miles from Lake Palestine & 7 miles from Tyler. Enjoy fishing, row boating in the pond, hiking the nature trails, seeing farm animals, swing set, and firepit for marshmallows! Stocked Kitchen-Everything you’ll need to cook and eat (besides the food!). Farmhouse has
internet and Satellite TV. We clean and sanitize according to CDC/Airbnb cleaning protocol.
Stay With Purpose!
80% from your stay go to support Go Mobile Education Zone, our nonprofit dedicated to education. Every night you spend here helps deliver mobile learning experiences to communities in need.
We are unable to accommodate any animals including ESA service animals. No animals of any kind are allowed. Violations will be termination of stay and $200 fine.
The maximum occupancy is 9 guests at any one time. We do charge $20 per guest over 6 guests, no matter how short their visit may be. If you have more than the maximum occupancy, your booking may be terminated and no refund given.
This 50 acre property has 3 houses (2 for guests and 1 for owner).
We rent 2 fishing poles and a tackle box for $25.
We sell a bundle of firewood for $10.
Early check in is $30.
Late check out is $20 per extra hour.

Wonderful stay at the farmhouse

My family enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We visited and fed the farm animals, rowed the boat, roasted s'mores at the fire, played on the outside equipment, and each child had their own bed! Location was perfect, we went to the zoo and Tyler HAMM, and there is a grocery store only a few minutes away. The hosts are friendly and we will definitely stay again next time we are in Tyler!

Quick Trip

We were only in town for a graduation so we didn’t get to enjoy the whole property but we really loved our stay there and will hopefully be able to stay there in the future! Very spacious and kid friendly. They had a blast playing hide and seek in the house!

Family-friendly farm retreat

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here! There were so many fun little extras we didn't even expect, like the sweet newsletter, feed for the animals, a fishing pond, complimentary boats, hiking trails and more. The house was perfect for our large group (11 total, kids and adults). The kids loved the playground and animals. The owners were very kind and shared their passion for homesteading. It was an easy 15 minutes into almost anything in Tyler. We're keeping this place in mind for our next trip!!

The house is dated but we liked the walking paths very much and and boats for the kids. It would be nice if they provided a few extras such as coffee creamer, a snack, needed a Tylenol ect. Pretty bare bones but they kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook. We made a nice meal.

Fun for everyone

Plenty of room and beds for everyone. The kids loved all the animals and the playground and the adults enjoyed the fire pit.
