This property is Amazing! Super centrally located. Just a couple minutes walk from the Duomo. Shopping is as soon as you walk out the door! Beautiful property, amazing, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay for 3 nights in Florence. The hotel was conveniently located close to all the major sites within walking distance including fabulous restaurants. The hotel was safe, clean and the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Other reviewers are right about the noise coming from the street at night if your room faced that way, but with the windows closed it didn’t bother us. The turn down service even included ear plugs should you need them. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and access to all the sites and sounds of Florence at our door step.

The hotel was very noisy. The heat didn’t work the shower sprayed Waller water all over the floor and the toilet upstairs was making a dripping sound in our ceiling. Heating noise were brought to the attention of the staff and they did move our room but the second room was in disrepair For the amount of money we paid per night. It should’ve been a much better stay

The first trip I took my mother on was to Florence and on that occasion, we stayed at the Hotel Calzaiuoli. More than 15 years later, the hotel is an oasis in the center of Florence. I cannot express my gratitude to the staff for making a reunion with the city an unforgettable experience, from Sara with her concern for helping our arrival, to the staff who I attended the breakfast area, without forgetting all those in charge of the front desk. In addition to the staff and the location, which are in my opinion the two greatest assets of the hotel, the rooms are comfortable and have incomparable views. If you are sensitive to noise, it would be best to request a room that is not directly on Via Calzaiuoli, although the hotel provides earplugs for noise.

Such a lovely hotel, would recommend to anyone staying in Florence. Staff were so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Centrally located to all key points in Florence and easy to walk anywhere we wanted to be.
