Did an overnight in Florence NC on our way from NYC to Florida. Stayed at the Hampton Inn after reading reviews on Travelocity. Great choice. Reasonably priced and lots of dining options close by.

The bathroom was aged with significant mold where caulking was. The paint on ceiling above the shower was pealing off. There was also mold in corners around floor and molding. The breakfast was good and room quiet at night.

This is absolutely my favorite Hotel and location to stay on my way up north and back down South. The place is awesome. The area is awesome and the Staff are superb. Wont stay anywhere else

Not overly friendly but appropriate. 9/10 -She was compliant and asked the proper legal questions pertaining to my service animal 10/10 (First time I have been questioned about my service animal at a Hampton Inn) -Room clean and quiet 9/10 -Breakfast buffet timely and fresh. Consisted of waffles, omelettes, potato, bacon, fruit, cereals, bagels, etc. 9/10 -Easy access on and off I95. Multitude of shopping and restaurants 10/10

I booked with Hotels.com and was added a fee for my pet which Hotels did not show on thier site. The hotel said they could do nothing as they have no control over the 3rd party bookings. The hot tub was closed and filthy and the pool was open with some item floating in the bottom of it. There was also lifted metal rails around the decking of the pool area. Furthermore, the picture listed with Hotel.com was of an indoor pool which they did not have. It was a $300 stay; checked in at 6:30pm and checked out 12 hours later thank goodness!

When we entered the hotel the hallways smelled very badly. It proceeded to still be a problem when we entered our room, 335. Floors were very damp and wet to the touch. The room also smelled very badly. It was unfortunate that we got there so late because if we have gotten there earlier I would have asked change rooms but we were too tired and needed to sleep cuz we had been on the road for 12 hours. We were extremely unsatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the room. Given that ratings online were very high, the room definitely did not represent that. The room was actually so bad we think we should have a refund. We definitely will tell others not to stay there.

Stacy at the front desk was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable! Awesome check in. Gigantic cockroach in the elevator. The room was not clean- especially the shower!!
