Very loud and sketchy area. The bed looked like the sheets had not been changed after their last guest. There was a cockroach in my bed sheets that crawled in my leg within the first minute of getting in. The phone did not work, nor did the alarm clock. I only continued my stay because I was dropped off after midnight and had no place else to go and no transportation to leave. This hotel freaked me out totally. I slept with one eye open all night. It was super scary for a single woman. Just say no.

The motel was empty when I arrived 40 minutes early. They said I’d have to pay $35 to check in early. That’s never been the case anywhere else I’ve stayed. Lobby stank of cigarettes. Bathtub in room was cracked, and shower curtain rod needs repair so you can shut the curtain. Staff not welcoming

Arrived late & front desk representative was courteous & greeted with smile . Said your room is ready. Check in was quick. Very sad no milk for cereals. No waffle mix but machine is very nice & clean. No yogurt apple or orange juice.

The breakfast they claim to have is self made waffles and or cereal but no milk. The staff seems as if they are bothered if you ask for anything. My specific room needed a new key activated each day and on the last day the lock didn’t work at all and I was unable to get in. Took 30min for the employee to walk 50 ft to unlock it with a key.

We drove to SC to get our fireworks but got down close to closing & I don’t like to be felt rushed, so that’s when I came up with the idea let’s get a room for the night Booked through a third party so was not aware of the motels policy until we arrived after driving 6hrs. There are absolutely no refunds even for the motels pets. First room we were giving open the door hit the light switch roaches everywhere. Went back to the front desk made them aware of the situation the lady explain that side is bad with them and she don’t know why they got that side open smh. She puts us on another side of another building was a lot better but there was a dead roach in the freezer and one back stroking in the toilet. It was other things that were wrong to us but they have a sign posted these are things that can be overlooked. Got up early that morning and checked out and said we will never again‼️ I NEED A REFUND‼️ Travelers stay away from this establishment‼️

Simply foot, it was awful. No Mom was at the desk when I checked in. When I finally did find someone to give me a room key I was appalled that the condition of the room. To make matters worse, there were numerous people walking and standing outside my door And congregating near my car well after midnight. When I noticed roaches crawling all over the bathroom when I went into use the facilities and the continued noise outside made me feel unsafe. I promptly left and found a hotel up the road and checked in at about 1 am at another hotel. Strongly recommend that you remove this hotel from your booking site.

The room needed an updating. Floors were separation. Bath tub damaged. Bed linen not clean. I would not return to this Red Roof. I’ve had great stays at others but this one need some attention.
