Hidden gem in the middle of everything! Luca @ reception was a plethora of Firenze information-history, where to go for cultural events-dinning, museums etc…very, very, helpful, personable, friendly & accommodating. Train station less than 10 min walk!!! Recommended if you are visiting 2-3 days. Scenery, furniture, access to hotel brings one back to the life of 14-16th century…loved it! Btw, restaurant below/next to hotel-buffet breakfast-good assortment! We will return!!!

The room was great, however it smelled of sewage. Maybe because of all the rain in the area the days we were there. The location is amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The entrance was not a lobby and located in the service elevator area so a little weird. But overall excellent location and good stay.

Perfect location, clean & comfortable
Perfect location! Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was at the cafe next door and had plenty to choose from. Coming from Rome, we appreciated the slower pace of Florence. Would stay here again.

Great location, help, and breakfast!
This hotel is amazing! The rooftop terrace is out of this world with amazing views that cannot be missed! The front desk was so incredibly helpful and they gave us many tips on the beautiful city of Florence. The room was so comfy and we would definitely stay here again. The hotel was in a central location and the breakfast every morning was so delicious! Pick this hotel!

The accomodation was cool. Big apartment, great air-con, lots of space. The location was boss, really the best thing about the place. Breakfast was cool, really nice bar next door, nice open seating area with funky music. The let down of the weekend was that the receptionist dude that was lovely and couldn't have been nicer on entry but completely awol on exit. This is strange if you want repeat business......as it was a sunday the reception staff was not available so there was no official check out just "leave keys in room as per note on reception desk". I wouldn't have minded if it was easy to catch a cab, it isn't. BARE THIS IN MIND PEEPS. The dude wasn't there to call me a cab. This ended with me and my wife spinning around local squares asking where we can hail a cab from whilst trying to get home. Not panicking but still slightly concerned. A helpful man from a local resteraunt was there to aid us and thanks to him, we followed his instructions to get a cab but it meant walking to a main square and having to go to a taxi rank cos everytime I put up my arms to hail a taxi, I was being ignored LOL. Overall, fantastic accomodation, location, price. Breakfast in resteraunts next door was perfectly pleasent. Nice staff, good choice of continental breakies. Overall would recommend but bare in mind a Sunday checkout.

Great location in Florence
This is a very old (I believe 1000 year old?) building that is now converted into a B&B/hotel. We had a quad room which included a regular double bed and one sofa bed. Pros: bathroom was spacious, room had a mini fridge (which seemed rare in italy). Location is wonderful, right in the town center! Walking distance from the main train station and also to all the attractions. Breakfast was downstairs at the attached restaurant, which had a lovely ambiance. It was a buffet style with eggs, bread, pastries, etc. They made delicious coffee drinks to order. They just need to be better at restocking the buffet as would run out and not restock until asked (eggs, bread, etc) Cons: we got so many mosquito bites! We did not open the windows at all, but still would wake up with a lot of bite. The receptionist said there was a plug in device to help with this (but didn't mention this when we checked in, so we didnt know). The entrance to the building (lobby area) is very shoddy looking, with a run down sofa. They should spruce this area up, b/c this is your first impression.

When first arriving though the place was rundown! But when we saw the room. It was ok! The place is on a top floor building! A bit of a maze! But once you start getting used to it then it’s not a problem. Staff very helpful, breakfast was in the restaurant next door very basic but very good. Staff very friendly too. Would stay again!

If you really want to stay in the heart of Florence this location is awesome but nothing else! The entrance is very bad, no staff after 7 and they won’t answer the emergency number they give you. The elevator is extremely small. The room is ok but there were bugs in the bathroom. The shower wasn’t working and and no one was there to answer my questions so you’re on your own. Parking is so tight, you won’t be able to park your car alone and it’s also paid separately.

Andrea was a great host . He greeted us when we arrived and suggested many great places to visit. Firenze is a very walkable city. It is both beautiful and charming . Beautiful places to visit and great restaurants .
