Great place to stay if you come to visit Tikal. Located directly next to the entrance, with nice bungalows / villas in the middle of the jungle. Restaurant has good food. They can help plan all the tours you need in Tikal.

Deep in the jungle of Tikal, the Jungle Lodge gives one the experience to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the ruins. Our room was comfortable, and clean. The pool area was somewhat dated, but it provided a welcome cooling after hiking in the ruins. The only complaint was the restaurant food was ok at best. They were out of many of the selections, and ingredients. (The other restaurants in the area had items that were available.). The restaurant staff was not very inviting, efficient, or attentive. We found better food and service at the other hotel.

This place is amazing. You’re literally in the jungle. Monkeys swinging above your head. Less than 5 minutes walk and you’re in the park. Super comfortable beds and showers in the premium rooms. I’ll be back!

The hotel is wonderful and tastefully decorated. Staff is super kind and the food is great too, especially when you consider that you are in the jungle. Overall, a terrific experience and we will come back for sure!
