I was told the pool was open when I checked in. The next morning the entire pool area was closed, apparently because of the renovations being done on the hotel. This was disappointing as it was really the only outside area at the hotel.

Refurbishment going on that wasn’t specified before our stay. First room was awful with a mildew smell that set off my allergies terribly. They had a bag of Damp-rid behind the dresser so they knew there was an issue. They moved us to another room on the morning without question. It was better but definitely in need of the refurb going on.

Awful Experience all around.
Wow are the pictures and description in the website deceiving! The place was garbage from the second you walk in. Weird foul smells all over. Dingy. The elevator had laid out cardboard boxes for the floors and blue packing material taped all around the walls. Elevator doors almost didn’t open. Room also had strong smell of bleach. Dirty, delapidated room. Bed and bedding was not like pictures. Thermostat was not working. No pillows for sleeping in, just small, hard decorative ones. Bathroom was small and dingy. Definitely NOT worth the money, or any money. I’m asking for a refund.

The service at the hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request. This property is going through a much needed remodel. Our rooms heater did not work even at 90 and we saw roaches. I will NEVER stay here again.

The hotel was under renovation which I was not informed when booking the room. The air conditioning is not working good. The beds and pillows were the worst I have ever encountered. The tv remote was sticky and all the channels I was able to see were religious and the selling channels. Overall the room was outdated The staff was nice I left after the first night.

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so if you took a remotely hot shower, the entire room would be humid for the next couple hours. The closet doors were horribly hung and you had to yank on them to get them to open. There was a continuous smell of stale carpet and cleaner in the room. We were on the 1st floor on the side of the building where the cleaners always kept their cleaning carts and they would be getting thigs ready for the day at 6am and they were not at all quiet. The pillows on the king size bed were the size small square accent pillows used on a couch. We had to ask for regular size pillows and they gave us 2 which we made work as best as we could and ended up purchasing 2 pillows after the first night. The breakfast they had consisted of make-your-own waffles, cereal, mini muffins, bread or bagels. The juice and syrup were both extremely watered down, as though they were trying to make a small amount go further. There were no other options for the waffles besides syrup. no toppings or anything. For the price we paid, it wasn't horrible, but i would definitely try to book somewhere else.

Hotel is undergoing construction so there is lots of plastic covering and unkept areas. Continental breakfast was great, had hard boiled eggs and a make-your-own-waffles station. Room had everything we needed but clearly older with paint/plastic peeling in the bathrooms. Staff was helpful and kind but very casual. Outside area was neat and clean with lots of parking and walkable to restaurants.

Outdated rooms. The first one we were given smelled like sea water. The furniture was bad too. We asked for a different room and they gave us one. Second room was old and outdated too but didnt smell at least. Key cards wouldnt work from time to time either and had to ask for them to be reset once. Also, a.lot of consturction taking place so the lobby amd.elevator were.covered in carboard and plastic. TV was old and very difficult to work. Had to channel flip. They did have a nice breakfast at least and the staff was polite.
