This mountain home sits on 30 beautiful, wooded acres just South of Hwy 24. It sits high on a hill above the abandoned Colorado Midland Railroad from the 1800’s. Nestled in the pines, it overlooks a stream with several Beaver ponds and visiting wildlife. Feel complete privacy with no other houses in view yet easy access to all local attractions. Close to world class flyfishing at Eleven Mile Canyon, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Spinney Mountain Reservoir and the Dream Stream.
The interior features 1900 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and large picturesque floor to ceiling windows in the spacious living room. A stone accent gas fireplace with 50" plasma TV above, completes the space. The home is superior in quality, featuring warm colors and comfortable furnishings. With the open concept, it is cozy enough for 2, but roomy enough for the whole family. You’ll enjoy cooking your meals in the large, modern, well stocked kitchen or grilling on the deck. Enjoy the Views from the 3 tiered deck or stargaze after a long day of outdoor activities in the 6 person Hot Tub.

As long time pet owners we would love for you to be able to bring your 4 legged family member along. Please advise us of the number and breed of dog you would plan to bring as we do have some restrictions and house rules that allow us to keep our home in pawsitive shape.

We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway has a few ups and downs, so we do recommend a 4 wheel drive for the winter and spring months.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains. Very clean, well stocked & great location. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Stargazing was incredible out the front door. It was a great home base for exploring Pikes Peak & Colorado Springs.

Overall the house was great! Especially the hot tub 🙂 The entire family was in it every night spending quality time with each other. However the only thing we didn’t like is the traffic noise from the near by highway, which was busy over Labor Day weekend.

The house and property are at the end of a road, mostly private. No others around, but you are looking down on Hwy 24. The house is well kept and had just about anything you might need available. We were looking for some downtime and this was a fantastic place to stay for relaxing.

The cabin was exactly what I was hoping it would be for our first mountain vacation and we loved exploring the property with our dogs. The cabin is very clean and has all the conveniences of home...wifi, cell service, satellite TV, ect. We cooked most of our meals there and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The location is very conveniently located to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs as well as all of the other outdoor activities in the area. Check in and check out were also very easy. I would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area in the future.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway with Family Fun
Our recent stay at this mountain cabin was a delightful escape, offering both relaxation and adventure. Our boys had a blast exploring the expansive property, which was teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot deer, beavers, and chipmunks, making the experience truly memorable. The cabin's location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, allowing us to enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and local sights. However, there were a few drawbacks. The cabin is closer to the highway with more traffic than we expected, so there was more road noise than anticipated. Despite this, the property still maintained a sense of privacy. The living room windows face west, which caused the cabin to heat up during the day. We found that opening the windows at night and welcoming the afternoon rain helped cool things down. One minor issue was the upstairs mattress, which seemed to be nearing the end of its comfort life. Overall, our stay was wonderful, with more pros than cons. We'd recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a mountain retreat with plenty of wildlife and easy access to local attractions.

Perfect location with easy, beautiful drives to Colorado Springs and Canon City for all of our vacation activities. Kids loved sitting in the hot tub watching birds and chipmunks! Great area for relaxing walks or just sitting on the porch. Cabin was well stocked with necessities and convenience items.

Perfect place
Loved the house, easy to get to and had a perfect view. It was along highway but noise was minimal and didn’t bother us at all. I was concerned that it didn’t have air conditioner but we kept house shades drawn why we were away during day and opened it up in evening and it was perfect. I highly recommend this beautiful home, it definitely spoke Colorado. When we travel that way again we will be staying there, beautiful and peaceful. PS: the water from the tap was the best water any of us have ever had. Just a bonus.

Beautiful mountain view getaway
Beaver lodge was so private and serene. We enjoyed grilling steaks on the grill and the house had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching deer walk nearby. We sat on the porch to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the hummingbirds. The location was perfect and not too far from so many attractions such as pikes peak, garden of the gods, manitou springs, seven falls, 11 mile canyon and cripple creek. The views, weather and location made these Texans want Colorado to be our yearly escape from the heat. We will definitely visit again.

Scenery was beautiful. Lots of trees and short walk to beaver dam. Sunsets were beautiful. Cabin was very clean and kitchen well stocked with anything you need to prepare meals. Close to lots of things to do. We felt welcome before we entered because of sign by entry. Loved our stay

Perfect vacation
Great house and location, far enough away but close enough to get what you need to be comfortable. Hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking and exploring. The only downside was no AC and with the temps in the 80s the house stayed warm most nights- fans and open windows couldn't cool it down. Kyle has an excellent place here and would come back here in the future.

Absolutely amazing!
This was one of the best properties my wife and I have stayed at. The location was perfect - easy to get to but secluded. Our second day there, we got almost a foot of snow - Kyle was responsive when we asked about plowing the driveway and was there first thing the following morning. The cabin is well stocked. Plenty of movies, board games, kitchen utensils. Internet was great - no problem with service. Check-in was great and check-out was just as easy. When we arrived, the property was immaculate. It's super clean and you can tell there is a lot of pride with this cabin. Overall, this property made for an amazing experience and we would certainly book the same property again in the future.

Winter Wonderland Vacation
The property was stunning, and the home was magazine-worthy. The home was clean and well taken care of. We needed nothing, everything we could ask for was there. Kyle made it clear that he was on hand for anything we may need. He was very personal and accommodating. Kyle told us that this was the deepest snow that he had seen since he was in school. The property was a winter wonderland, and we will never experience this in our life time again. Kyle was so accommodating that he came out on Sunday morning to pull us out of the snow/ice-covered driveway. We will be customers for life!!! See you all next year.
