We liked everything about our stay. We were well taken care of and were treated like family. We want to recognize all of the staff that took excellent care of us. Latoya & Sam - front desk Barbara(Momma), Lashad, Andrea, Lillian, Dallas,..Housekeeping Lakisha-Laundry Archie-trash detail I hope that I haven't left anyone out. But all of these special people made our stay very enjoyable. Thumbs up to all of them. Thank you.

See the pictures of how dirty the place is. Those socks were after a short time in the room (my shoes were left at the door, and socks were white when I got there). I left early because of the hurricane. They were charging victims fleeing the flooding and loss of power with almost double the rates they were charging the week before!

Many things broken or rusted. Needed towels or toilet paper etc. had to go to front office. The manager or possibly desk clerk was only available thru like a speaker. He could see us, we couldn’t see him. Check in was thru a computer. Could see him only thru computer and there was plexiglass cover the complete desk area. Staff came in to dump trash cans only. Drink machines were broken and stairwells were dark. A bit unnerving there. Hope they get it worked out!

NOT SAFE - we fled
First of all, you need to know that it’s remote check-in, done via screen by someone halfway around the world. As far as we could tell, except for breakfast, there’s no one on site. The walls are paper thin and we were treated to every word coming from our next-door neighbors, who for the first two nights were loud but normal people. On our third night, Aug. 2, a lunatic had checked in. We got back to the room around 10 PM and this time we heard an obscenity-filled rant over the phone, apparently, because no one was screaming back. “I’LL BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF, YOU F**KING C**T!!!” “SAY THAT TO MY FACE! COME ON OVER - I’M IN ROOM 103 - I’LL PUT A KNIFE IN YOUR F**KING HEART!!!” Then she went out in the parking lot and screamed at anyone who was there. She kept ranting about “f**king cops” and “f**king FBI.” We were watching her through the eyehole, terrified and trapped. This was all happening very near the main office. I don’t think anyone was there - certainly no security. This went on for 45 minutes, with her going back and forth from her room to the parking lot. We were afraid to call the cops because she might know it was us. We waited until she walked her dog (???), threw our things in the car, and fled. I did call the cops but by then she was gone with the dog & they didn’t take me seriously. I also recorded part of her rant, which I still have. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SAFE - STAY AWAY.
