Pleasant stay
I was pleasantly surprised by this stay. This was a quick, one night stop but the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Lemonade and cookies were out for guests as well as a sign with the names of guests checking in. Location was close to a lot of restaurants. Would stay again.

The reception crew was very friendly & helpful, and location was good. Just a hop-skip-and-a-jump to the main streets of downtown Forest City, Rutherfordton and about 15 miles from Lake Lure. The room was comfy and clean for a nights stay.

Super convenient to the local community college where I saw Steve Earle play an acoustic set. Only a five minute drive, so a little too far to walk. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area, a movie theater at a mall as well all a very short drive away. The room has cold AC and the bed was comfortable. There was a desk where I was able to get some work done while I was there. The workout room didn't have any weights but there is a nice exercise bike and treadmill. If you like Sonic it is within feet of the lobby entrance. The breakfast buffet was adequate and very similar to other hotels I've stayed in. I would stay there again if I were to come back to town.

It was fine. Staff was never working ir available but could always be found smoking out back. It was clean and comfortable and fine. For the price, i found it not worth it. If it was $100-120 nightly, i wouldve been happy. However at $170, not worth it.

Bed was clean and both mattress and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom tub, toilet and sink area was clean. Bathroom floor looked like it needed a little extra cleaning. I know it can be difficult for housekeeping staff to view the room from the bathtub and toilet but if so, it would be good to do that because that is what your guest see. We had the King suite and we loved how spacious it was and the additional seating in the room was great. Overall definitely worth the affordable price.
