The ski bus stops almost right outside the door and the ski slope of Forstau is a short distance away. That makes this property an ideal stay for families with young children or novice skiers. Are you looking for more of a challenge? Then you're also in the right place here. Just over 4 km from the property you will find the ski lifts of the Reiteralm (Schladming-Dachstein ski area). A trip to the Dachstein Glacier or the ski resorts of Zauchensee/Altenmarkt and Flachau is also a possibility.

Forstau is located on the border of Salzburgerland province and Styria province. Both provinces offer plenty of great day trips. Nature lovers get their money's worth here on a nice hiking or mountain bike tour. In summer, you can take beautiful hiking and cycling trips around Forstau. The village even hosts special children's hiking trails and playgrounds. Want to cool down? Then several swimming pools with water slides can be found in the area.
