Read alot of negative reviews made me scared. But I got there ans nothing besides the construction was going on. And it wasn't bad never heard loud sounds or anything. It was very clean even with work. So no pool but you're right by ocean so that shouldn't matter. Seen comments of rude staff I had no issues I talked to almost everyone there. And when my flight got changed on last dat to a very late flight they let me store my luggage to just waste time till I had to go to airport and this was after check out. Definitely will stay here again construction or not. So close to everything within walking distance. Unless you wanna go to Miami that's an Uber ride away!

They didn’t notify us about the construction until the day before we left, so couldn’t change anything! This property should be closed during renovation!! The mess it is under is unacceptable for a Marriott!! The fumes made us all sick! The noise was unbearable! The bar was a joke! And then they had the gall to charge us for a terrible breakfast! The pool was closed but we were only staying one night! We paid over $500 for 1 night! This should have been discounted to $100! Do NOT satay here until they are done! Very disappointed!!

Hotel was under renovation which we did not know about. No gym no pool. The corner room we had booked was no longer available. Looking at back at fine print hotels.com does not guarantee room availability. This would suggest I should book direct with the hotel chain.

1. expedia didnt reveal upon booking that the hotel was under renovation. no pool, no workout, not amenities! 2. there was no service to be had! they said there were other hotels to visit with a pool. it was bad. a workout gym a mile away. 3. all kinds of noises coming from construction. 4. my last day trying to take a shower. there wasnt any Hot water!!!!!!! absolutely horrible! at $350 per night. a joke!!!

Hotel is under construction, the pool is closed, and it would have been appropriate to notify guests about this when reservations were made. The room we stayed in was beautiful and appears to be newly remodeled, but we likely would not have booked if we knew the pool was closed.

Overall good stay but currently under renovations.
Overall a great stay, room was clean , looked just as it does in the photos and so very comfortable, same for the bathroom. The staff was friendly and very understanding which was a positive also. The negative we had is that we booked with intentions to use their pool and bar, which when we were booking did not tell that they were currently under renovation so they were closed for the time. We did get complimentary slots on the beach with seats and all due to same. Overall I enjoyed the trip and would stay there again once the renovations are complete.

We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and our room was ready (and they upgraded us to a junior suite). That was delightful after a red-eye flight. Renovated room is very nice, especially the new bathroom. Good view of the ocean. Checking in is a little awkward due to construction but once that is done, it will be awesome.
