While the overall experience was great for the amount of money that we spent to stay there, I felt like it was a little unworthy of our stay The bartender, Winston, picked up my water glass by the top of it, and stuck his fingers down in it before he poured the water in it and handed it to me. Though that might not seem like a big deal to some, I find it to be quite disgusting as I’ve ran restaurants for the last 25 years. I had to call down to Customer Service because outside of our room was a bunch of trash that another guest had decided to leave and thrown out everywhere When we first arrived, you had some sort of function going on at the side entrance, and some gentleman screamed at us and told us that we had to go around to the other The front desk was great. The other Bartender Tyler was amazing and our server Jason was above everything. I just thought you should know because like a lot of other people I don’t get the luxury of staying in a hotel like that very often and I expected more

VERY NICE RESORT - CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK
IM OLDER AND I SHOULD HAVE ASKED DAY 1 BUT DAY 3 I ASKED AND GOT A WONDER BED TOPPER SO LAST NIGHT THERE WAS THE BEST :) THE RESORT IS AMAZING - COMING BACK WITH HUBBY FOR SURE. 33 RESTARUANT FIRST NIGHT WAS FANTASTIC WAITER. NEXT NIGHT (THURSDAY oCT 3RD) WAS AT OUTSIDE RESTAURANT AND THE WAITER WAS LACK LUSTER. 3 TIMES I ASKED FOR LIME - ANOTHER WAITRESS FINALLY GOT IT FOR ME AND A NEW GLASS OF WATER AS I WAS NEARLY OUT. HE HAD WALKED BY WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT ME, WITH THE WATER JUG. TOOK FOREVER TO GET ME THE CHECK, THEN DIDN'T GIVE ME A PEN. HAD TO GET THAT FROM ANOTHER WAITRESS. Our first room had bugs all over the floor. When we contacted the front desk about the infestation (not one, not two- think a few dozen) they didn't seem to care nor apologize and just handed us a new room key and told us where our new room number. The second room looked like it had not been vacuumed but at least there were no bugs. We expected a lot more from this Marriott where the room charge was over $300/night.

It's a beautiful hotel! But the ceiling of our room was with a lot of dark marks of mold.

Property has nice features and amenities. However the staff isn’t great, reliable or helpful. The beach crew is great. One bartender at 3030 was also great. The spa staff wasn’t that friendly. Supposed to have drink and food service at the private spa pool, and didn’t. Worker didn’t show for shift, wasn’t replaced by anyone - so you had to walk about 400 yds through the lobby to another pool area to get anything. Really devalued the spa area and experience. The sea level bar had awful service. Slow, inattentive, unfriendly. Dining options are decent though food and drink wise. The location is not walkable go anywhere else. Have to drive out or take an Uber. Fire pits weren’t lit ever, spa doesn’t offer champagne or any fun benefit. Rooms were nice. It’s a nice place overall, but the staff and execution brings it down. Oh and our room balcony was under construction, so we couldn’t use our ocean front balcony at all. No warning this would be an issue when booking. They have a us a credit for the inconvenience - but I would have booked elsewhere had I known that ahead of time.
