Spend your Christmas and New Year's Eve onboard this beautifully remodeled cabin cruiser, that has glowing reviews on all travel sites.
Graceland is where your boat house becomes a tree house on a high tide. This 1979 remodeled vintage double cabin is a hidden gem, an exotic experience for the most sophisticated travelers. Situated conveniently on Las Olas, Grace is a short walking distance to the bustling downtown & the sunny beaches of Fort Lauderdale. The boat has 2.5 cabins and 2 full en-suite bathrooms with salt water toilets. Host also lives onsite and available as and when needed.
Grace, formerly known as Athena, was remodeled in late 2021. Grace has 2 1/2 cabins, 2 en-suite full bathrooms, two roof decks, main cabin with a sleeper sofa, two smart TVs, a scenic kitchen with all cooking essentials, as well as a 5 in 1 Ninja grill on lower deck. One toilet is manual and the other one is automatic. The yacht has a Toshiba window air conditioning unit, multiple air movers and fans. Windows open up for a natural tropical breeze any time of the day. Handmade quilts and Egyptian cotton sheets are used throughout the cabins for an extra comfort. Visitors and guests appreciate the elegance of this vintage cabin cruiser, even though spaces are a little cozier compared to modern yachts and apartments. Trees are generously draping over Grace providing shade and enhancing the tropical breeze any time of the day. Free street parking is available on first come first served basis.
Guests have private access to the entire boat. Host has access to lower deck for water tank refill, something that cannot be seen from inside. Host also lives onboard on a nearby yacht. The docks as well as outside courtyards and laundry facilities are shared with other residents and guests. All parking spaces outside the building are assigned to residents, therefore only the free street parking can be used by guests. New to staying on a yacht? You wake up to a birdsong, crabs munching on mussels, a coconut splash and get entertained by wildlife. The tropical extravaganza takes your breath away, while the warm air melts your blues away. If you are lucky, you will see fish dance in the water while you take a sip of your favorite drink on the deck with magnificent views. Sunbathing iguanas will charm you all day long in front of your cabin overlooking luxury villas and yachts. Don't be surprised if they come onboard for a hearty welcome.
The location is quite picturesque and wildlife is plentiful. Iguanas may visit the decks, they are harmless and a fun company, but guests are asked not to chase or scare them off. The neighbor building trimmed some of the nearby tree, however Grace loves nature and wilderness and the tree has remained mostly intact over Graceland. Guests are also asked not to invite strangers or neighbors onboard the yacht. Minors and seniors have to be accompanied at all times.
Host lives aboard on a nearby yacht, available as needed.
