I’ve been coming to the Hyde Hotel since 2020 and it never disappoints. Had another great stay over Mother’s Day—front desk was super friendly and accommodating as always. Food and drinks were great, and the vibe is always just right. One of my favorite spots!

The rooms were clean, facilities were nice but elevator and pool accommodations left a lot to be desired. A 15 minute wait, at a minimum, trying to get on an elevator was ridiculous. Absolutely not chairs or tables poolside, no coffee shops or food on site. Valet was good minus not being able to get through on the phone to get our vehicle before getting downstairs and having to wait another 20 minutes after 30 waiting and riding an elevator. So almost an hour to check out and leave.

Don’t trust them. Hundreds in hidden charges and wouldn’t provide a receipt. They said they would email the receipt so I provided it and never saw a receipt. They know how to scam you out of your money and you can’t do anything about it. I hate dishonest people and will never stay here again!

The 3BR unit was spacious, that was our only positive. The only food option is the pool bar, with limited hours. The added resort fees and valet parking cost makes this resort a costly stay with really no bang for your buck. Wait times for elevators and to get your vehicle are long. Lastly, the customer service was poor. We reserved a time for tennis and were told to stop down at the front desk before our allotted time. Once there, my husband and I realized that we left our photo ID in our room, therefore the front desk receptionist told us we had to go all the way back up to get our ID and come back down. When my husband said he had our room key along and can show that to prove we are guests, she replied with “well I have room keys too”. Instead of being understanding and verifying our name matching the reservation, she thought it was hilarious to be smug and sarcastic. Please don’t be fooled, if you are looking for a 4-5 star experience, this is not it.

I only have 2 complaints: 1) we were only given 1 wash cloth per person, at least 2 would have cut down on laundering. 2) the spa was never open, we stopped by one day & were very rudely told if the door is closed we couldn’t enter. We got services at heed spa

The room (condo) was very spacious. We really liked the views from our balcony. However, the unit was not the cleanest and there was no hot water on the showers. Thats fine if a person is on a camping trip. The deal breaker for us was the extremely long wait for elevators and the over crowding.
