Lagomar is a great place to stay before a cruise from the nearby cruise port. It’s a classic beach resort with excellent on site dining. The beautiful beach is just the short distance of three other properties from the inlet canal where the big ships come and go. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. It’s a little bit difficult to negotiate the streets around the hotel but it’s well worth the effort ha ha ha.

Myself and my daughter visited for a 4 day break from the rainy cold Canadian weather! Property was a little dated but very comfortable. Staff were absolutely fantastic. Would definitely visit again

Overall had a great stay. Lots to do on the property including a private beach, restaurants/bar, shopping, mini golf, shuffleboard, basketball, tennis. Property is older, would get five stars with an upgrade to the property/rooms. Location is beautiful.

Room location and amenities were poor. WiFi and tv reception went on and off. front desk said everything was great but it wasn’t. Restaurant wait staff were great. Front desk was less than helpful. We canceled our stay scheduled for 10 days later because we were so disappointed in the resort.

Wonderful hotel!
The hotel was friendly and welcoming. Everyone worked on the property was friendly. I can’t say enough how much we love this resort. The rooms was clean. Location was great. Private beach was wonderful. The lagoon pool was great! There was a dark hair lady (not sure if it was owner or not) so friendly they have 8cats they are on the property and they feed them and take care of them. It’s so wonderful to see ❤️ this vacation was so memorable and the place is perfect for families.

Everyone was very welcoming and went out of their way to see that we were taken care of. It is a beautiful resort that is private and secure. Excellent location and stunning beachfront. The boutique offers a huge selection of clothes and accessories at excellent prices. The restaurants, bar, and soda shop are all very nice and good quality without being extremely priced. Our room was large and very clean and classically decorated. We will definitely return to this resort for a longer stay in the future.

Our place to stay when we cruise
The hotel is old and there's not much they can do about certain things except a total renovation. It is as clean as it can be and the beds are always comfortable and the amenities are great so I will continue to stay here. The shower drain is a little slow but the fridge is a nice size and keeps things cold. It is fun to go on the beach and watch the cruise ships go by and with mini golf tennis and many more activities including a fantastic pool, this resort will not disappoint. Just do not take a taxi cab from the airport as they tend to overcharge. We have only eaten at the bar next to the pool and the pizza and sandwiches are good and the employees there are very friendly.

True potential, likely a bad day when we stayed
Computers were down on check in. Arrived at 8 p.m. and took a long time to get a room. Hotel staff was overwhelmed. Weird that many guests arriving after us got a room first with no explanation. We stayed chilled and we understand that not all staff can cope when normal systems go down, even one apology or a breakfast voucher would have gone a long way after a long day of travel. The room was super dated, but very clean. Hotel has some amazing touches, but then room fit out is a let down dinner at the restaurant was AMAZING. Biggest draw back was staff. Mostly felt like they were looking to minimize guest interaction. I know its hard to hire these days, but they need some real hospitality coaching. None of the 7 families that i saw checking in got an apology or any sort of consideration for waiting...some of us for hours, and no one got stressed or mean to staff, so youd think theyd show some love!
