The Sonesta is easily close to so many things to do. The beach is right across, the staff are friendly and the pool was nice. Will hopefully be back in the future.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was clean, and the property itself was neat and clean. There are many food options within walking distance. And the view of the beach, which is directly across the street, where fantastic. Only downside, is the breakfast in the hotel restaurant is expensive.

The Sonesta Hotel location is stellar - literally a walk across the road away from a narrow strip of beach. Bed pillows were too soft and matterss needed to be replaced. Bathroom toilet required you to manually lift the handle at every flush or the tank would never fill up and the water would continually run. The hotel front desk clerk kindly adjusted my bill during check-out, when i mentioned the toilet situation, which was very kind. If only the check-in front desk clerks had been so helpful - never answered room-service questions when we arrived. They even discussed our questions between the two of them with no actual response to either of us. We decided to go downstairs to the hotel restaurant,The Steelpan Restaurant. It left much to be desired - unprofessional staff that repeatedly expressed their frustrations with their jobs and the loud music with horrid singing did not make for a favorable dining experience. My bench seat in the restaurant was actually slanted to one side - uncomfortable. Won't stay there again.

TV didn’t work very well and it wasn’t fixed. This was a VIP stay and nothing was given for the status. Breakfast was not very fresh. Iron didn’t work. I extended my stay one night and the upgraded us to a better room. All in all I would say a 3’out of 5 stars. Staff was helpful rebooking

I had to cancel my stay and checked into another Hotel. Room was terrible. I asked a Non smoking room but got smoking room that stinker. Room is so tight like you're in some BnB hotel in Europe or something. I paid for a Mini Suite that supposedly had all amenities but rather got a shack. I wont recommend... don't waste your money for an expensive rubbish
