Hurricane Helene shelter.
We were sheltering from Hurricane Ian along with many other locals. All of the staff were excellent. My only complaint is the complimentary cocktail service which would have been greatly appreciated. However, the serving size was totally laughable.

We really enjoyed the dinner that was offered, it was tasty and the workers were all very friendly. After a long day of baseball I was looking forward to resting in bed, but was put off by it smelling like cologne (which I do not use) and noticed the sheets appear to have been slept in. Mind you our beds were made, so I don’t think housekeeping changed the linens from the person prior. I was too exhausted and ended up draping laundry I had over the bed to sleep.

We stayed here during a baseball tournament and had a great experience! The staff were nice, everything was clean and the beds were comfy. We were scheduled for 8am games all weekend which would usually mean that we would have to stop for breakfast, but the staff put out a continental breakfast of things like cereal, pastries, waffles, fruit and hard boiled eggs earlier in the morning so were able to grab food before heading out the door.

We never got to stay here because we paid with affirm and got an iteirary number and loan number and everything. We were in the hotel lobby watching people eat and drink for 5 hours, pretty much stranded. We had to leave and go to a different hotel. It was pretty embarassing☹️
